People at Dexters are professional, personable and efficient. I would highly recommend their services! My partner and I have been looking for a rental property in SE1 for over 3 months. We were a bit apprehensive about letting agencies as we had previously rented directly from landlords and our prior experience with other agencies was subpar. Our first interaction with Ida was great. She took the time to understand our needs and recommended two properties - both places were the nicest we viewed. We provided our list of requirements and asked Ida to confirm if the landlord was happy to negotiate these terms before we make an offer. We were in no hurry to accept (we were difficult clients) as we had been burnt before. There was some back and forth, however Ida was patient with all our requests. Once we made an offer, the process right through to check-in was smooth. Ida kept me informed of the documentation and next steps. She also stepped in to help me with an alternate method to complete my referral check (I was travelling and had limited contact available). The move itself was perfect, the check-in agent walked through the inventory with us. He acknowledged the issues and the very next working day we had the property manager (Natasha) come in, assess the issues and organise handymen to fix the problems (all within 3-4 days). So far its been a week at the new place and we are extremely happy with the flat and our letting agency.

I have had an extremely negative experience with this estate agency, particularly with Ryan Martin. Despite my efforts to be accommodating, he was dismissive and rude when I explained my general limited availability and mental health circumstances while arranging access for property viewings. His tone was aggressive, and his lack of professionalism and compassion was shocking. He also demanded to have a spare key for access whilst I am not at home, although I had explained this would not be an option from my side. Mental health is a sensitive topic, and being treated with such hostility was deeply upsetting. Communication from an estate agent should be respectful and empathetic, especially when dealing with tenants’ valid concerns. I would strongly advise others to approach this agency with caution.

The first viewing was great - Tom was helpful without being pushy, and always responded to call very quickly.
