Awful agency with zero regard for tenants privacy, rights, or common courtesy. Extremely negative experience with them. Avoid at all costs. I would never consider them to purchase a house after their complete disregard for customer service to tenants.

Very bad experience with this agency. They promise the moon, but once you've signed with them is it the complete opposite, and they'll simply ignore you when you need them.

Don’t go with Chestertons or you’ll regret it. 4 renegotiations, to be told a week before I move for work purposes it’s not worked out. Horrible service, pressure sales, texts at 1am. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

GoogleMy partner and I had the pleasure of working together with Chestertons and Stav Nicole our consultant in December 2016. After being out of the loop with the property market for a couple of years due to living in Sydney we were a little nervous of overpaying for not a lot in the middle of the city. However, Stav listened to our needs and only showed us places that were within our criteria. 7 months on we are still very happy where we are in Shad Thames and would use Stav and Chestertons again if we need to. I recommend Chestertons as a reliable and committed estate agent. We were communicating with a lot of different ones at the time and Chestertons were the most professional and warming company.

GoogleSatisfactory experience. Chestertons were great in arranging the quick viewing and preparing all documentation. However, I can't say I was totally satisfied. The information provided on the apartment furniture was not very precise - we were surprised to find at check-in that one of the couches was missing as it belonged to the tenants not landlords though we were told the contrary. It would also be great to have received information on how to manage property and operate household appliances etc as it is really difficult to contact landlord for each of these issues. In addition a couple of things (shower, waste disposal) were not working at our check-in - I believe that the agent should have checked that beforehand even if they are not managing the property.

GoogleI recently purchased a flat through Chesterton’s in St Katharine Docks, which had been a dream of mine for many years. From the moment John showed me the property, the service I received was truly exceptional. Both Alex and John continuously helped by chasing solicitors, being a perfect intermediary between myself and the vendor and were incredibly professional at all times. They played a huge part in ensuring the completion actually happened and in a very timely manner. I will have no hesitation in using them when I sell my home and buy my next. 10/10 in every respect and in a totally different league to many in their peer group.

GoogleA highly professional company. I have used the lettings service for over 10 years, as a landlord I found the team very reliable and helpful. I recently sold my property and i have to say that the sales team went well above and beyond the service i expected. Not the lowest commission rate quoted but it turned out to be well worth it. Not living nearby, the team helped me in various tasks from clearing the property of furniture and being on hand at all times. Thank you for making the whole process painless and easier than normal. John deserves a special mention for dealing with my every request !
