FacebookTotally useless, do not instruct them to manage your property. They will ignore emails, not return phone calls and most of the staff are constantly off sick or on annual leave. Over a year I have been waiting for them to resolve an issue and they are now ignoring me so I now have to waste my time take legal action against them. Chris Coombes and staff are completely useless.

GoogleSold my previous house and purchased our new home with Hair and Son between April and September. Smooth transition, kept up to date with all arrangements and all calls returned...even at 7am on a Sunday Morning much to our delight. Richard and Maya were exceptional throughout. GooglePut my house on the market with Hair & Son in late December 2019. After nine months and three attempts, the sale was completed in late September 2020. This was due in most part to the tireless work of Lorraine and Adrian, their endless patience, and their great professionalism during the long and difficult period. Many many thanks for a job well done !

Any problems or technical issues, they would find the the appropriate expertise to sort them out very quickly and effectively. FacebookI live next door to a property managed or owned by Hair. The house has been empty and abandoned for over 6 months. Some weeks ago during stormy weather the down pipe from the roof came down meaning that rainfall floods outside my kitchen door.. I have rung Hair to report this. Their responses have been, staff absences due to COVID, waiting for estimates, with our maintenance team. My email is ignored. With such appalling customer service I would never trust them in Sales or Letting.

FacebookSort issues out. My brother has ongoing issues and nothing is being done to resolve them, My brother sent e mails make telephone calls and even sent a letter of complaint. After over a year this matter should have been sorted. THIS COMPANY IS USELESS AND HAVE NO INTEREST IN RESOLVING PROBLEMS JUST MAKING MONEY

GoogleComplete lack of trust in this estate agent. High stress levels, low morals and non existent communication sum them up... Incorrect information on pricing when viewing and when trying to buy a property, next to no communication on our offers and had to keep making phone calls as never received hardly any information so had to keep chasing them. To make matters even worse asked to be kept informed of other offers near ours which had not been accepted after weeks of absence of phone calls/mis-information when negotiating which they agreed to and they then sold it next week to someone else at a very close offer to ours!!! Unbelievable behaviour and service. Hair and Son Thorpe bay you really need to look at your operations and how you conduct your business.. Not that it really matters to you as you quite clearly don’t care about anyone else but I will never buy/sell or rent a property associated with yourself in the future and wouldn’t recommend you to my worst enemy! Absolute shambles!

We are sorry to hear that our advice to you, whilst you were in our office earlier renewing your tenancy agreement, doesn't meet your expectations. As discussed, we have spoken to the staff member who manages your block and who is currently looking into the situation. GoogleThe most awful agency I have ever dealt with. Very arrogant, almost agressive behavior from Sean especially who basically kicked my partner out from their agency when he realised he wasnt honest with us. Booked the second viewing for 3 properties with them and came all the way down just to be lied that 3 properties all gone suddenly. Some unexplained personal reasons from their side -a total mystery, unless they were lazy to go to do the viewing again or didn't like us from previous time. Was told no viewings as all properties off the market, but actually offered a viewing to new clients when called up. Extremely unprofessional and very unpleasant experience in a whole. Just keep away from them.

FacebookOur daughter rented a studio flat on the fifth floor of a building for her and our granddaughter (one room + bathroom) which was not only a health risk but they almost doubled the rent within the first twelve months because it was being paid by housing benefit. Happy to post images and video of the damp conditions that Hair and Sons expected them to live in, but just as importantly there was a loose window that was extremely dangerous and if any pressure was applied against the window it would have fallen 5 floors to the ground killing anybody in the way. God only knows what would have happened to our 2 yr old granddaughter had she been able to climb up on the windowsill and lean against the window. Even after contacting Southend Council it took months to get our daughter moved and all of that time Hair and Sons did nothing to fix or improve the property. Hair and Sons might be an established agent, but they have no business ethics and consider its moral duties to its customers less important than monetary gain. Our daughter is now fighting to get her deposit back and they refuse to speak with her and ignore all email communication. Unfortunately for them I will pursue them until it has been resolved. Find a different agent, you have been warned.

GoogleStrange lot really. I called regarding an issue with the property I stay in and got transferred over to some person called Charlie who repeatedly farted down the phone at me. They were huge, long and powerful farts too. My ears were ringing for days after.
