GoogleI have an amazing experience with Poswall Lettings. The location of the house is perfect for a student, it is close to many local shops and the university. The Landlord is very helpful with any questions I have and makes the transition of moving houses very easy. The property is very well kept and is perfect for myself and my flatmate. I would definitely recommend Poswall Lettings to any person. I am extremely happy with my decision to rent with Poswall Lettings!

GoogleRented one of their student houses in 2023-2024 and had a far better experience compared to our previous private landlord. Poswall Lettings is a family-run business and the two men in charge are genuinely kind, understanding, and always quick to sort out any issues. Throughout the tenancy we made sure to look after the house, keep it clean, and return it in great condition - and we got our full deposit back with no stupid deductions like other scummy landlords will do. They were completely fair and transparent, never trying to take advantage. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a house to stay at

GoogleI genuinely cannot recommend Poswall Lettings enough! We were with them for two years and from start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment we booked our viewing, through the contract signing, and now to the end of our tenancy, everything was smooth, efficient, and completely stress-free. Whenever we had any issues; no matter how big or small the team were quick to respond and always made sure things were resolved promptly. They really went the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable and happy in our home. The entire team were consistently friendly, supportive, and professional. It honestly felt like they cared about us not just as tenants, but as people. In a market where you so often hear horror stories about poor communication, ignored maintenance requests, and unhelpful landlords or agents, Poswall were the complete opposite. We feel so lucky to have rented through them it made such a difference to our experience, and we always felt at ease knowing we were in good hands. Thank you to everyone at Poswall for making our first rented home such a positive and memorable experience. We’re genuinely sad to be leaving, but so grateful for the last two years. If you're looking for a letting agency that actually cares and does things properly, go with Poswall!

Straight away we knew he would take the property due to the high standard of the accommodation and the professional manner in which we were dealt with. GoogleDefinitely 5 stars, Poswall is the perfect choice! They are relaxed and always on hand to help with any issues. While many of my friends have had issue with their landlords, waiting months to get things fixed, Poswall would have things sorted within 2 days. Communication has been great throughout and there really isn’t anything bad to say.

GoogleI lived in Mr Poswall’s accommodation for 3 years. I could not recommend his accommodation and agency enough. The accommodation was modern and clean, and was a lovely place to live. The thing that I really loved about living here was the security and homeliness. Whenever there was an issue it was addressed within hours and fixed for example, it was the middle of winter and I had an issue with the boiler and Mr Poswall came round to sort it out immediately. Poswall lettings really cares about their tenants and listens to what they need/want during our stay there the car park was very small and Mr Poswall acknowledged this and organised for an expansion of the car park. I can’t say anything negative about my experience. I would recommend all students to rent with Poswall lettings. GoogleI rented with Poswall Lettings for 2 years, in a 5 bedroom house. The building itself was your standard sort of student accommodation, though kept in relatively good condition. What set this agent apart was their transparency and great service. Most repairs and maintenance were carried out quickly, and they always kept us in the loop about anything happening with the property. My first night in the house, I found that my bed was broken. I reported it that night, and had a new bed by 11am the next morning. Most importantly, they never stuck us with arbitrary fees or deductions from our deposit. Would definitely recommend for students coming out of halls for the first time. Thanks Mr P(s).

GoogleNice properties and good booking experience, however unclear and poor communication from the letting agent. I told the agent I was ready to take the property, who let us know the property was ours and was going cancel all future viewings. I then got a text a few hours later stating the viewings in fact hadn’t been cancelled and the property was taken, afterwards telling me that if I had sent any information or deposit, then the viewings would have been cancelled. This should have been made very clear beforehand, as this sense of urgency was not portrayed within the prior texts. Shame, as he seemed nice and so was the property.

GoogleHorror experience. After renting 2 years with them, me and my housemates decided to stay for the 3rd year in their 6 bedroom house. We signed the contract for another year and got promised that he’ll send us an electronic copy via email. After asking for it SEVERAL times, got a message from the agency saying that we need to evacuate in maximum 3 days because they sold the house to someone else. Being international students and having no family here to help us (they knew that), we basically became homeless thanks to them. The ‘3 days notice’ was also a lie as they came by the house the morning after he messaged us to change the front door lock. And after 2 days we were not allowed to go back in the house, even though we all still had things there (loads of kitchen stuff, a shelf in the bathroom and numerous personal objects and clothing in my bedroom). This agency is untrustworthy, full of lies and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone to rent from them. You can literally get kicked out anytime even if you signed a contract. GoogleHaving been with several other student letting agency’s during my time as a student at Southampton, I can say that Poswall Lettings is the best one I’ve been with. The property’s themselves are to a high standard for the price you pay, and the team are very professional with their handling of their business with tenancy contracts and deposit money. My flat has a high EPC rating so I’m saving money on gas and electric bills compared to my previous rented flats which were low rated. It’s a family-run business, and every member of the team is easy to speak to, helpful and reassuring if there are any issues The Maintenance of the property is excellent - often any issues are sorted the same day, or scheduled in with the maintenance team within the same week. Overall, I’d highly recommend Poswall Lettings to any student out there. The way they manage their property is excellent, and everyone is really helpful with any problems you’ll encounter with your property. The flats was modern and lovely, perfect for me , i never had any problems with any of the appliances and my stay there was smooth sailing. The staff were all very lovely and helpful with any process that needed to take place, and were extremely accommodating ensuring we had the best stay and experience with them. GoogleBest landlord / letting agents in Southampton! My rent for my 1 bed flat (living room / kitchen + bedroom + bathroom) matched the same as a typical student studio with bills included. The interior was beyond the typical quality of a student flat, with a beautiful bathroom. Any issues were dealt with quickly and they went above and beyond for me including letting me in without charge the several times I locked myself out.They were not finicky about returning the deposit either unlike many other Southampton student letting agents. 100% recommend.

GoogleHave been renting from Poswall Lettings for 2 years and I have just rented another property next year from them! They are truly great in the services they provide. The properties are all well-maintained. I have not had any problems with the house I have been renting nor the team of Poswall Lettings. In fact, they have all been very helpful in accommodating my needs as a tenant. They have been very good in maintaining the properties and if any minor issues arose (e.g. a light needed replacing) they were unbelievably quick in sorting it out. The Poswall Lettings team are very friendly and explained to me and my housemates the basics of tenancy as first-time tenants. They have been very helpful and always prompt in sorting out any documentation needed. I whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone looking to rent.
