John was the first estate agent I met with, and the 2 following him had a high bar to reach! I am so glad I chose John Dallas to sell my house. The last time I sold a house, I felt like the agent only cared about their fee. Selling can be stressful at the best of times, and you need someone who you can trust, who will be honest with you, and act like a real human being! My sale had particular challenges and I knew I could trust John. He and Tom went above and beyond, even booking a plumber for me at short notice when I couldn’t be there, and popped in when I was away to check my heating was on in a cold snap. They really went the extra mile. It felt like we were working as a real team. I’d asked them both from the off to always be straight with me and they were. The honesty, knowledge, and frank advice that John and Tom provided felt like they were holding my hand the whole time, acting in my interests too. I never thought I’d say that I would miss my estate agents, but I actually will! Don’t hesitate to use John Dallas when you need an estate agent. You’ll be glad you did. Very pleased with the extremely professional approach by the team at John Dallas. They have a holistic approach to selling your property where everyone is happy to assist and you definitely get that feeling. In house photography which is very nice. Very trustworthy and right on the money with valuations. Tom Algar made the whole experience as pleasurable as it can be with such a stressful time. Thank you, John Dallas team (namely John, Tom and Tom), for securing us a speedy sale - we got several offers within ten days of listing. We previously bought our home through John Dallas as well. Our experience as sellers, as well as as buyers, was much the same. We found the team to be friendly, honest and knowledgeable. We felt well advised but equally listened to and respected. If you are considering selling a property in the local area, you should definitely consider doing so through a local independent. I cant recommend John Dallas Estate agents highly enough. A family business who sold me my first property about 18 years ago and subsequently sold it for me today. I also used their rental services during this time and having never been a landlord before there was a lot to learn but John has been amazing at every point from sharing his years of knowledge to recommending trades men for all kinds of services. He's always just been a phone call away and nothing has ever felt like too much bother. His colleagues Tom & Tom also deserve a mention, both came across as extremely friendly, helpful and very professional. If you're looking for an estate agent to look after you then you won't go wrong with using John Dallas.

We have both bought and sold through John Dallas and can highly recommend. From a buyers perspective I can only say that there is a reason we didn't consider anyone else when it came time to sell our house. From a sellers perspective Franco and John had 6 viewings, 2 offers and a sale agreed within 6 days of us putting it on the market. The majority of the viewings being the result of local knowledge. They were open and honest about the price we could likely achieve and did not make us any false promises. With the photos being done by John himself it meant we had listed within a day of deciding to go for it. His photographs are of a high standard and is happy to take photos of different angles we wanted. Communication with Franco was prompt and of a high standard and we have zero complaints. He was always happy to answer questions and during a renegotiation he kept things moving and kept us informed, meaning nothing got delayed. John, by being proactive, identified an issue further up the chain which would have significantly impacted our completion, something the buyers of that house were unaware. Through this we were able to resolve the issue and agree a completion date that worked for everyone. Overall, we would happily buy from and sell through John Dallas again and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to sell.

Would highly recommend John Dallas. I sold and brought my current house through them. Really easy to deal with. The team are trustworthy, helpful, friendly and I could always get through to talk to someone. I am glad I did not go with a bigger firm as I had more of a personalised experience from a team that actually cares. The communication was good, I was kept informed throughout the process. I had quite a specific criteria in terms of what I was looking for and felt like this was actually taken into account instead of just viewing loads of properties. I'm very happy with my experience of using John Dallas to sell my flat earlier this year. Franco was very friendly and informative at our first meeting and continued to offer honest, realistic advice throughout the process - very useful for a first-time seller. JD actually gave the lowest valuation of four local estate agents I approached but I chose them as I thought they were more likely to achieve a sale. John was also friendly when he visited with Franco to take measurements and Kasia kept me up to date with any interest/offers. They were also proactive in giving me the advice I didn't want to hear - that the market was sluggish and I might need to reduce my price to generate more interest. However, I trusted them and shortly after, managed to achieve a sale! Thanks very much!
