The team at Rottingdean did a fantastic job at selling my property recently, and I can't thank them enough.From the get-go ,Robert (Harding) was'on the ball', efficient,helpful, kind and supportive, and Alex Wilson was an absolute joy - constantly cheerful and upbeat,keeping calm and steady. Avoid F&S conveyancing

Do not use Fox & Sons in house conveyancing firm. I’m not a Fox & Sons customer but our buyer is (as that is their agent) and they’ve held up our chain for months. We agreed a sale in October 2024, it was discovered in January 2025 that our buyer needed an amendment to their lease on their leasehold property before they could sell it (a deed of variation) three months later to today, only now has the Fox & Sons conveyancing firm read the leases properly and determined what they need to do and there is still no end in sight. All in our chain has needlessly been put to extra stamp duty cost, the cost of arranging a new mortgage offer because previous ones have expired, we’ve had houses in the chain being re marketed, causing further stress. Our solicitor told me today that they have three chains including ours that are all stuck and going nowhere due to a deed of variation, and guess what, every one of those chains has the same Fox & Sons conveyancing firm handling the deed of variation. They clearly don’t know what they’re doing and I would suggest unless you want to waste your money on delays, and be stressed beyond belief, do not use Fox & Sons in house conveyancing. I don’t normally post reviews, if I get bad service, I simply don’t go back. However, on this occasion, I’m getting bad service that is costing me and others in our chain more money, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Fox and Sons weren’t my originally estate agents, but I’m so pleased that I asked them to help me after a run of bad luck with my original agent!The service that I received from Morgan & Annie at the Saltash Branch has been nothing but exemplary.Morgan offers help and advise all the way along the process, that in itself takes a huge pressure off knowing your in such capable hands. I was extremely happy with the service I received from Millie Howden at Fox and Sons in Amesbury. The valuing of the house was arranged at short notice owing to my personal time restrictions. From the offset Millie was both professional and friendly throughout. She clearly explained everything regarding selling and answered my questions. When I called the office a couple of times after her visit to ask further questions she gave me the time to answer them, didn't make me feel rushed but a valued customer. I had a great experience with Fox and sons (Hove Church road) they were professional and extremely helpful. Every time I have a question or was unsure about anything they were very quick to get back via email. I would recommend fox’s and sons especially as new buyers and not knowing a lot about what needed to be done and when they helped through the whole process. I cannot recommend Daniel the mortgage advisor enough!! Having recently returned to the south west i was struggling to find a property in the Yeovil area due to being in a complex situation and due to the huge demand in rental properties. After being told no a million times, Fox and Sons in Yeovil got in contact, it was Leon. He took the time to understand my situation fully, and then arranged a viewing of two properties for me and after three months of being told “No, Sorry”, Leon had found me the perfect property and Landlord. I move in tomorrow, its been a long process but Leon has kept me up to date throughout and has been on the phone or on email any time i have needed to ask a question or get an update, where i have spoken to other members of the team, they have been fantastic too, Leon however, has really stood out and gone above and beyond any other letting agent i have experienced over the years.
