GoogleWe are so happy with the support we received from Black and White letting agents and would highly recommend them. Jemma went above and beyond, providing us with excellent support in finding our perfect home to move into. Her communication was incredible which removed any worries we had with moving. Jayne and Jemma are super friendly, helpful, professional, knowledgeable as well as understanding to the stresses that come along with buying and selling. GoogleI'd like to praise Jemma from Black and White lettings for the speed and efficiency with which she let my property, and being a joy to work with. From my first call to Black and White to the property being let took around 7 working days. Jemma had the property advertised within 2 hour of her inspection and had tenants lined up a couple of days after. She managed to fully vet 2 prospective tenant's shortly after, kept me informed and within the week the most favourable tenant was signed up. Throughout the process Jemma exhibited a great personality and work ethic. If I had one minor criticism it is that, for working Landlords it would be handy if Black and White were open on Saturday mornings.

GoogleI understand that dealing with tenants can be an absolute nightmare as I do it myself, however, there are a few members of staff that have no manners and do not know how to talk to a potential client in the phone. I'll be taking my business elsewhere unfortunately.

GoogleThe staff, especially Jane and Gemma, are the most helpful team I have ever used. They are very professional and friendly, always giving 100%. I cant thank them enough for all their help. Would definitely recommend!

GoogleNegligent letting agents. Avoid! Amusing that they're denying any knowledge of me when I signed an agreement with them for a property in 2016. Not only can they not use the dps scheme correctly or renovate a property to a liveable standard before letting it out, but they apparently don't adhere to the Data protection act going by their response! Thankfully the property was transferred to responsible agents, but I would never even look in their window, let alone consider renting a property from them again....
Unfortunately we have no record of your name on our file so must presume this is a mistake, Sorry we couldnt respond any better.

Great customer service especially received from Sarah, she has helped me with my tenancies and she always has time to provide support, help and advice, always willing to go through extra mile. GoogleMe and my partner seen a house we liked that had been on for over 2 weeks Called to book a viewing (NO ANSWER) Emailed to book a viewing (NO ANSWER) Emailed again next day (you can guess) Then following look and it had been removed I understand houses go fast but don’t keep them avertised and a simple email saying “house as sold” would be nice or other house they have I would say it’s very unprofessional If could give 0 star I would RESPOND: you have not emailed back within 72 hours let alone 24 hours your just saying this so the public think this is rubbish and you have not phoned once and let me guess you’d say my phones wrong not you
We always respond to email enquiries within 24 hours, and phone call with messages left.

GoogleTin pot outfit who don't show courtesy or care about potential customers. Rang up to enquire about a property on a Monday and I said I would take it immediately. I was told I had to go an open viewing on the Thursday. I book a half day off work and arrive for this viewing and after waiting 20 minutes along with other people I call the office only to be told it was taken on the Tuesday. They had no answer when I asked why I had to wait 3 days to view when I was ready to take it on the Monday. Also, when I asked why wasn't I made aware it was taken and saved me the trouble of taking time off all I got was 'oh well we rang everyone with an appointment' clearly not when me and several others were left waiting. Rude and unprofessional, I wish I could give 0 stars.
Dear Anthony. I am really sorry to read your review. When a popular property come onto the market we do our best to accommodate all the viewings. It is company policy to ask all viewers to view the property before making a application. I would ask if you could call the office and speak to me more about this situation you experienced, as we are not aware of a recent block viewing.

GoogleTerrible estate agents, I have been with them for years private renting. I always have trouble getting them to fix problems in the house, they always say it's been booked its never a no show! Communication is shocking in the office, some of the staff have attitude zero customer service not bothered about helping you at all!! They are quick enough to take payments. Would not recommend them at all!

GoogleI have used Black and White Estate Agents for over 15 years to let my rental property. They have always been friendly, extremely helpful and found me a tenant quickly. The service is excellent and hassle free and even when things don’t quite go to plan they sort issues out immediately and with no fuss. I would strongly recommend them to any landlord looking for a letting agent.

GoogleI seen a property at birchtree I phone up straight away that said thay was waiting for keys to go back to the office that was last week and I haven't heard anything else
Unfortunately this property was rented direct through the landlord. However if you would like any other properties we would be happy to assist you with a viewing.

GoogleUnfortunately it's a seemingly impossible job to get in touch. As a result have been unable to book a viewing on a house. To be honest this lack of communication has really put me off this company. As a suggestion for management - focus on good communication with customers, this will give them confidence and you will likely get more business.

GoogleRecently had some works done on our house we are currently renting. Richard and Paul have done a very good job in bathroom, toilet and kitchen, with new floorboards and bathroom suite done within a week as well as new ceiling in kitchen following the leak. Many thanks also to Jane for sorting this so quickly following the leak a couple of weeks ago.

GoogleI'm really dissatisfied and disappointed of professionalism. I booked view for Monday and a couples of hours before Lady cancel our view because they don't have keys. She said she will phone me back as soon as possible. In Thursday I phone and ask is it possible to view the property as answer I get information "gone". I'm really surprised how unprofessional are that agency.
Unfortunately when all the viewings were booked for this property on Wednesday, a message was left for you with these details. We have properties coming in all the time and i am sure there will be others that would suit you. many thanks Black and White

GoogleTerrible people you ask for a viewing and you ring every week to no avail 8 weeks later your told the property has sold and no one has bothered to inform you even though you have shown Intrest multiple times
Unfortunately this property was sold through the owners, after several promises of vieiwngs we were eventually informed a private sale had been agreed.

Rude staff, completely unprofessional from appearance to attitude and just not at all knowledgeable in their field of so called expertise. Maybe a breach of Data Protection having addresses and offer amounts displayed quite clearly in their branch too... Do NOT use.
Dear Judith, I am sorry you dont like the area we work or our estate agents. All our staff are very knowledgeable about our local area as most live here. We have a available board in our office as a quick reference for our properties, this is the same information that you can obtain of Rightmove and such websites, which is totally data compliant with the latest Gdpr guidelines.

GoogleAbsolute waste of time. Every property I ask about on their website is always taken. Makes me wonder if they are lying to me or they just genuinely have no properties to rent. If the properties are not available for a month, you should not put "AVAILABLE NOW!!!!" and remove the ones which are actually taken.
I am sorry you have been unable to find a property that is available, our website is updated very regularly, unfortunately we do have a high turn over, of properties and rent most properties the day they come in are rented out.

GoogleNever respond to emails and very rarely get through on the phone. If you are lucky enough to, the staff are rude and unhelpful. Then again it's expected from a company only open 4 hours per day. Will take my business elsewhere.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

We are open 9am through to 5.30pm We have a automated phone system that answers your call and allows you to be put through to the correct department. We do have busy periods but all our calls get answered. Our emails go to all staff. Please make sure the address is correct. info@blackandwhiteestateagents.com
