Very Fortunate to Find Berkshire Estate Agents

We swapped to Berkshire Estate Agents (Slough) having had some trouble with another high street agent. We were recommended by one of our friend who bought a property through them. we wanted to buy and from the day we met Lee he has been a great personality. He really delivered what he promised, the purchase went very smoothly and the team at Berkshire was always helpful and engaging. Buying a property is not easy feast. The stress and the level of communication between all the parties involved will drain a hell lot of energy. But Lee and his team has helped and supported us the till the entire purchase. They were not pushy like a typical sales/estate agent and being patience on each stage. They listened to our concerned and the process didn’t stopped there. They even recommended a builder who planned and build our extensions and conservatory. Till we moved in to our new home our communication with Berkshire went on. We felt that we are very fortunate to find Mr Lee and Berkshire Estates and cannot express our happiness in finding the right property. Rude and dreadful service

Have been clients of theirs letting our properties through them. Utterly dreadful service and rude. Lee is the "director" who essentially withheld our rent to us and was always many months late with payment. Despite constant emails and promises he tells lies and we received rudeness and hollow promises of rent payment. Spare yourself the anguish and stay away!

Very Happy with the Service

Rude, dishonest, unprofessional, childish, aggressive, threatening, cocky and arrogant

We gave Lee at Berkshire Estate Agents one of or houses to let in December last year. At first, he was positive, complimentary and quite personable. However, as time passed, we soon began to realize that he is nothing more than a poor salesperson who thinks he is wonderful and has no substance behind his arrogant facade. He kept telling us that he had a tenant, although no-one ever materalised, then after 2 weeks of marketing the property he tried to convince us to drop the rent, then he tried to convince us to accept a dreadful tenant who wanted to pay less than the quoting rent, give a smaller deposit than we wanted and wanted to keep several animals in the house and he eventually found a tenant after 3 months and after we told him that we would be instructing another agent. Despite multiple requests, he failed to send us details of the tenants references, failed to send us his fee agreement and failed to send us the tenancy agreement. Then, to our total and utter surprised, he moved the tenant into our property before we had even seen the tenancy agreement! The tenant was unaware of this and was also outraged, especially since they had paid Lee the rent, deposit and a substantial admin fee. When we eventually did see the tenancy agreement, it comprised several clauses which were totally unacceptable to us. When we questioned him on this, and aked him why he had allowed someone to move in without a signed tenancy agreement, he started to get rude, aggressive and threatening. He also took the rent and deposit money from the tenant, without telling us and without sending it to us. We had to instruct solicitors to deal with him and to try to resolve this matter which cost us £1,000 and Lee eventually backed down. We managed to convince the tenant that the agreement would need to change and after 2 weeks resolved this issue. However, Lee still refused to send us the money which the tensnt sent him and so we are now suing him. We own 100 properties nationwide and have never ever faced a situation like this. It is a disgrace and this guy should not be allowed to practice estate agency.

My overall experience with them was amazing. Reliable and Trustable - George

My Experience with the Berkshire Estate agency is ‘very positive’. As we are moving away from slough we wanted someone reliable to look after our property well and pay our rent on time. As a landlord we were misguided many time by other agents in our previous experiences. Trusting another estate agent was a big concern for us, but after a recommendation from my partners colleague we went with Berkshire Estate Agency. Poor customer service!

Don't believe the positive reviews as they are fake! I had been warned about this agency but I saw a property on Rightmove that was keen to view so thought I'd go in with an open mind. Wow, never in my life have I been met with such rude people. When I arranged the appointment, no information was received via email or call (yes I already checked my junk inbox too). As the appointment was made last minute and we were already en route to view the property, I thought the estate agent will be there anyway so it wouldn't be a problem. We got there and waited 25 minutes with no one turning up. I called twice whilst I was waiting and the lady said that he should be there already but couldn't connect to his phone. When I called again to say that I've waited long enough the man on the phone said the estate agent was waiting for us in the property already. When I queried why he did not call us, he then accused me of not checking my emails for the property information. I informed him that no email was received and no one came out of the property to look around. In addition, no contact was made to say that he was already in the property, they just said "he was on his way". Rudely, he then asked "why would I go view a property with no information"? He implied that I was stupid. I put the phone down as I did not want to stoop to his level of immaturity and incompetence. No apology made or try to try find what happened.
