Pleasant, professional and very efficient, I was kept informed throughout and they were able to guide and advise based on years of experience. In terms of the wider team, Ben was also great, providing perspective and insight into the local housing market. Well done all !.

GoogleI have just finnished a tennacy with Mark Rice in Sleaford and iv had such a positive experience with Rachel and Karen in the letting department. They are extremely responsive and any issues I have had have been responded to and solved incredibly quickly! They have regular maintenance contractor's that are always punctual and very respectful in the house. Every inspection Karen is really polite, respectful and genuinely a pleasure to have come to my home with the inspections not being awkward or intimidating atall! If I could rent from them again I would absolutely do so.

The rental team (Karen and Rachel) have helped market our rental property and always found great tenants who have cared for the property. More recently, the sales team (Laura, Frances, Jill and Ben) have been equally impressive, with the sale of the property handled efficiently and professionally. GoogleMark Rice Estate Agents were our vendor's agent and whilst we were not in direct contract with them, they were a very important link in the wider move chain. Things were not straightforward following a break in the lower chain and we came to rely on Frances and Laura to ensure that the upper chain was kept informed and committed to progressing the sale and our purchase. We greatly appreciated the weekly updates and willingness to work with us to enable the move. Happily, exchange and completion happened and Frances stayed on board to support us with post-sale enquiries. Estate agency is not just about getting a buyer. It's about doing what is necessary, including working with the wider chain, to achieve a successful move. Very many thanks to Frances and Laura in particular, for helping us to get where we are now.

GoogleI highly recommend Mark Rice estate agents. I’ve used them a couple of times and find them extremely helpful in a very stressful time. They chased solicitors on both sides for me, also kept me in the loop with my buyers etc. Very friendly staff always available to talk to. Thank you so much to all of you for all you do! GoogleAs a renter, they were fine. They did rectify issues etc On leaving they did everything in their power to make my deposit equal the full amount. And somehow my full deposit wasn't protected. I agreed to some things on the deposit as I felt fair and understandable... , but I thoroughly cleaned the whole house, every cabinet, washed carpets (6 hours I meticulously did this). They emailed me saying I had to do a "hygiene clean" on the house check out list. After leaving they charged me independently for full carpet cleans and the house clean separately. Carpets £70. House charged seoarely at £360. A house clean involved a kitchen, bathroom, and some windowsills in other rooms ? Their prices are insane and when I fulfilled my requirements as a tenant cleaning and paying a cleaner to do the oven? . Be careful!
Thank you for your review. I have taken the time to read your comments and review your file and I can respond as follows. Firstly, I can confirm that your full deposit was protected with the Deposit Protection Service within 4 days being received, you were also issued the Prescribed Information relating to your deposit within legal timeframes thus ensuring our legal obligations relating to your deposit were fully complied with. Your comments relating to your deposit are factually incorrect and I would refer you to your deposit certificate and your DPS account accordingly. Unfortunately, the check-out inspection highlighted many areas both within the property and externally that required further attention and failed to meet the obligations of your tenancy agreement. As is our standard practice, all areas of concern were fully evidenced by using a comprehensive inventory compiled by an independent inventory provider at the start of your tenancy and dated photographs taken at our final inspection to support our claim. We issued clear guidelines to help you prepare the property for your final inspection and it was explained to you in written format that any areas that were not left to a satisfactory standard would be subject to the employment of professional contractors and the cost would be deducted from your deposit. Our records show you expressed a desire to use the Deposit Protection Service resolution service to allow an independent adjudicator to review and assess our claim. Adjudicators are completely unbiased and make their decisions based on the evidence received from both parties. We supplied our evidence within the specified timescale but despite being asked by the Deposit Protection Service to submit your evidence, you failed to do so. Mark Rice prides ourselves in being fair, open and honest in any claims against tenant’s deposits. Allowances are made for fair wear and tear, and we will only propose deductions when there is clear evidence of a valid claim. We are sorry that you are unhappy that your deposit was not returned, however, after reviewing your file, we are confident that the matter was dealt with in professional manner and in accordance with industry guidelines.

GoogleI can't recommend Mark Rice Estate Agents highly enough.11 out of 10! We had to sell our mum's bungalow remotely, because we live a long way away. Mark, Laura and the team have been absolutely fantastic from the beginning to end of the sale. We have been kept informed regularly every step of the way, and they have gone out of their way to support us at all times. The attention to detail has been fantastic, even recommending a house clearance specialist, and going to collect meter readings before completion. Their knowledge of the local market is second to none and despite the slump in the market were always on the phone offering words of encouragement and highlighting that they were there for me. When Mark first visited our house to provide an appraisal he sold us on the have that they were a local company with their friends as their customers. He and his team certainly lived up to that promise. Keep up the good work team.
