After struggling for a long tome to find rented accommodation in Sidmouth and feeling like it was time to completely give up, our house became available through HL&P and we were so glad it did! Manda & Bobby between the two of them made the experience easy and incredibly stress free. We had a couple of complications along the way caused by issues our end and they handled it with just the right amount of professionalism and compassion whilst guiding us along the way until we landed ourselves in the home we are both very happy in. I personally would like to thank Bobby & Manda for being two of the best estate agents I have rented through, and when the time is right, I hope the property I decide to buy will be through them. Somewhat disappointing i called in whilst on holiday to view a property it was close to my hotel I walked past it various times it did not appear lived in ,I didnt say i couldn't proceed it was well in range ,no viewing was made the man said your not in a proceedable position ! I raised a concern to one staff then no reply to a director again no response.. If a place is for sale and within easy range I cant see an issue ?

Our family had a very good experience with this company whom we engaged to sell our deceased father's house. They were always courteous, helpful and respectful in our dealings with them. We were in contact with various members of the team which was a bit confusing at times but the communication was always prompt and efficient. The house took longer to sell than we had anticipated, with some poor communication on the part of both solicitors but Jay facilitated some of these issues successfully. My experience of renting a property through Harrison, Lavers and Potburys was very positive both during the searching phase of finding the right property and throughout my time living there. Bobby and Manda have always been very helpful, had great communication, and gone above and beyond to make the experience positive. Past experiences with renting through estate agents have been very impersonal and communication has been lacking, whereas this experience was the opposite and I felt I could always email, call or pop into the office and have a warm greeting and discuss anything promptly. Anything that needed addressing within the property was done so quickly. I would highly recommend searching for a property and renting through them
