I honestly couldn't recommend the team are Oakley highly enough! Having registered with virtually every letting agent in the Shoreham area, Emily was the only person who was genuinely proactive in helping me find a rental property. She took the time to understand what I was looking for, kept in touch and ultimately helped me find the loveliest house. Her enthusiasm and commitment really set her apart from everyone else. Once I'd moved in, Linda was equally fantastic as the managing agent. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no problem too small, and she consistently went above and beyond to help. She was always incredibly responsive, helpful and a genuine pleasure to deal with. It's rare to find an agency that delivers such excellent service from start to finish. Both Emily and Linda made the whole experience so much easier, and I felt genuinely looked after throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to tenants and landlords alike. A brilliant team who really do care about the people they look after. Thank you both!

I asked Jason from Oakley's to give a probate valuation for my father's property, one of five agents I asked. He was so knowledgable about the area and its properties, honest about our house and its potential, and approachable (and our very discerning spaniel agreed) that we immediately decided to give the firm the sale. Throughout all staff have been professional, friendly and efficient. It was not an easy house to value or sell, but Oakleys were wonderful, gave good advice, advertised excellently and when the offers came in handled the whole process in a way that made it easy for me (I live at a distance and was unable to drive for 3 months) I never felt the need to "chase" or push the firm or any individual and the sale was completed smoothly and well. Would thoroughly recommend Oakleys.

Emily at Oakley was absolutely brilliant throughout my purchase. It was far from a straightforward transaction, with the previous managing agent collapsing and all sorts of unexpected complications surrounding the building. Emily remained friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring throughout, and her longstanding familiarity with the property was enormously helpful. She was always approachable, understood the situation properly and did everything she could to help keep things moving during what could otherwise have been a very stressful process. I’m now happily moved into my new home and would have no hesitation in recommending Emily and the team at Oakley. A genuinely professional, helpful and human service. Five stars.

We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Oakley’s throughout both the sale of our home and the purchase of our new one. I had a very good experience with Oakley. Highly professional and pleasant with it. They marketed my property very well and I had several offers as a result. Whilst the sale ultimately derailed due to the purchaser’s actions, Oakley dealt with this situation extremely well. I have no hesitation in recommending them and I will go back to them when I come to sell again. EDIT: You will see an earlier positive review from me above. When I decided to attempt to sell again I had no hesitation in going back to Nick and his team. If anything in the two years since my first experience of trying to sell, the market has become even more difficult. My situation was made more difficult by actually having already left the area. I was given so much extra help from Oakley. When I needed recommendations for gardening help, tradesmen, removals, you name it I got them. All first rate, and fairly priced. The team literally held my hand through a further collapsed sale when a buyer pulled out and provided sensible advice. I need to mention Emily by name because she simply went beyond. Buying and selling your home can be extremely stressful but choosing the right professionals can make all the difference.

Emily at Oakley's has been absolutely incredible through a very long and tricky moving process. She is super helpful and nothing is too much trouble for her, she is excellent at keeping in contact and communicating. From start to finish they were professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about getting the best outcome for us with the sale of our site. I worked with Oakley on my first home purchase and I’m so pleased I did. As anyone knows it can be an incredibly stressful process but Oakley was there to help every step of the way and chivvy along those typical conveyances so I didn’t have to! Their Thirdfort system made completing the initial checks so easy and effortless, it was so much quicker than I thought it would be! They always answered calls and emails very quickly and gave me anything I needed throughout the process, even if I just needed reassurance! I personally worked with Jason, Sara and Nick and they were all fantastic. Sara was always there to talk me through anything or have a calming chat whenever I was stressed, Jason and Nick took me through the whole process and contacting all parties involved on my behalf so that we could push the purchase to completion.
