GoogleBest agents by far. Very patient and supportive. We took a long time to find the property that would be the best family home for us and Middleton were behind us all the way. Great communication from Stephanie as the sale progressed and Lyndsey was great to throw questions and concerns at, always providing informed support, clearly knows the industry. GoogleTom and his team are head and shoulders above the rest. We have dealt with them whilst buying and selling. More often recently my partner and I have attended viewing where the agent hasn’t a clue about the obvious details. This is not the case with Middleton’s. GoogleHaving viewed a property to let and immediately expressed my interest in renting it, I was told I would receive a response on the same day, once the potential tenants had been considered by the landlord/lady. Unfortunately, we are now five days on and despite me sending an email and telephoning for an update (they were going to call me back), I have heard nothing and of course assume that my application was unsuccessful. I would like to suggest that all potentials tenants are handled with respect and transparency. Searching for property is not an easy task and is time consuming, taking time out of the working day to view properties. Just a courtesy email is required. This letting agent has a lot to learn about customer service and I for one, will avoid in the future.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
Hello Clare, sorry that you felt Middleton Estates customer service was unsatisfactory during your time looking for a property to rent. I have looked over all previous contact with yourself in regards to your complaint. I can confirm that on Tuesday 12th January you put forward an offer for a property. However ,as with all letting agents, there is a procedure to follow and we have to wait for landlords to come back to us with whether they are going to accept an offer or not. This, unfortunately, hardly ever happens within the same day. We tried multiple times to contact you on Friday 15th January via the mobile phone number you gave us but unfortunately you did not answer, there was no voicemail facility on your mobile phone and you did not call us back. Since receiving this review we have again tried to contact you, this time via email, and can see that you have read our email but again we have not heard from yourself. GoogleWe use Middleton estates to manage our portfolio of rental properties and couldn't ask for a better service, Tom and his team are superb. Every tenant is vetted and checked, property checks as and when needed and we are always kept up to date with any problems or issues. Far exceeded our expectations and a much better service than we received with our last 2 agents. Would highly recommend.

GoogleI rented a property via Middleton Estates for around a year. They made the process extremely easy and hassle free. During my time at the property, I had a direct contact at the estate agents for any problems, questions or queries. They were also extremely quick to reply and were always on hand to attend to any issues. I couldn't be happier with their services and I would highly recommend them to anybody looking to let or rent. Overall I had an extremely positive experience dealing with Middleton estate agents.

GoogleWe have recently let our 4 bedroom house on Shoreham Beach, having never done this before we were a bit nervous and unsure of the process. After speaking with a number of local agents we choose Middleton to market our property and manage the letting. Abby, Justyna and Tom explained the whole process, were friendly and professional and offered us a service that is excellent value for money. They quickly got us 2 offers at the asking price with well qualified leads. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering using their services.

GoogleAppalling. These guys are the reason estate agents still have a bad name. We went to an open day and put in an offer above asking price to secure the property we wanted. Our offer was accepted and the seller was in the full knowledge that our house was on the market without an offer. Daily hassling about the status of our sale was the first stage. Then deathly silence - we were gazumped. Despite having said they had taken the property off the market and that they were only doing one open day they were still clearly snowing other people around . We thought we had secured our next home only to be let down at the last minute. Absolutely appalling company. Got a different answer every time we spoke to someone different. Just awful. Avoid at all costs and if you’re looking in poets corner (where they seem to have flooded the market) go for lextons cales or witlock and heaps instead. Vile.

GoogleReally disappointing experience of marketing my property for sale with Middleton Estate Agents in Hove both during the term of my contract agreement and then once it had come to an end. Level of service experienced was poor versus other independent estate agents in the area often with several weeks passing with no updates or feedback until I chased this up. I also had issues with incorrect / incomplete details appearing on the main property websites which I had to highlight to their team and chase to get amended. Finally upon termination of the contract, it took a further 2 weeks of chasing by phone and email to get them to cease marketing my property and remove their for sale board.

GoogleMiddleton Estates are by far the worst agents I have come across. found them rude and no help what so ever, in fact I would go as far to say it felt like they had no care for us what so ever as we were leaving the property. We had issues arranging times for them to view the property out. I explained they could come in on a set few days with warning. no warning was given so it was decided they would let them self's into the property without letting me know!! We also have another estate agent working with us and they have been nothing be helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Not happy and will be seeking advice!
