Started looking at potentially buying a property however wasn’t sure on where to start. Tried using Google and read articles etc however I wasn’t finding it helpful. I like local to park gate so though I might aswell call up a local estate agents and see if anyone could give advice and have a chat about it. Spoke to a lady called Lauren who was very knowledgeable and friendly, she explained how everything works when buying a property and even suggested a few properties to look at on the website! However circumstances have changed and I won’t be buying at this current time, however when I do I’ll be heading to beals! Thank you for all the help!

Olly at the Shirley branch dealt with the sale of my property, he was very pleasant and extremely efficient. He suggested that the sale was conducted by way of an open day which attracted a large number of viewers and several offers very soon after. An offer was accepted within 2 weeks of his initial viewing to compile the Sales Particulars and completion of the sale was achieved within 6weeks of the offer being accepted. I have been extremely pleased with the service I have received from Olly and Beals in general who managed the rental of my property for 10 years prior to it being sold and would recommend Beals to anyone who is looking to sell, buy or rent.

Trustpilot5 months & £1,500 wasted! Le Marechal, Bursledon
We were due to exchange on our purchase of the 3 bed detached property in Le Marechal Avenue, Bursledon this week. However, after 5 months of waiting and after spending thousands of pounds on searches, enquiry and mortgage fees, the vendor has now decided to increase the price by £15,000. Beals phoned me yesterday to tell me the news and after telling the agent we could not afford the increase, they decided to put it back on the market immediately. It is extremely unethical of Beals to continue to collaborate with this vendor after they completely messed up our sale and purchase just weeks before we were due to move. We have financially and emotionally suffered because of this vendor and I am utterly flabbergasted that Beals are encouraging this sort of behaviour. Incredibly poor service, unreliable, unethical and untrustworthy. The property has already fallen through twice and the vendor has increased the price both times. I wouldn’t recommend viewing or putting an offer on this property because it is reasonably foreseeable that the same thing will happen again.

GoogleUtterly incompetent outfit. Throughout the course of the lease I was obligated to make repeated phonecalls as they rarely if ever called me back when they said they would. At the end of the lease they failed to return the deposit in the contractual period agreed which has resulted in a long and frustrating process with the TDS to make a claim. They now claim our signed contract is merely 'advisory'. My advice would be to go elsewhere if at all possible.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleLove it when places delete their reviews after a while. Apparently a estate agent that deals with drug dealer and criminal landlords is worth trying to keep around. Dealt with beals over 2 years ago now, Was put in some dodgy shared house without a HMO license, The landlords moved a drug dealer into the house, Went to back to beal's to get help, they tried to get me kicked out after sending multiple emails over contractual obligations being broken. Don't ever go here, not professional, Not worth anyone's time or money, bunch of scam artists here.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleI rented with Beals for nearly 3 years, I found them to be a bit useless. I was without a shower for months (had to shower at work). I had a drainage problem over Xmas and they left me with raw sewage floating past the front door, southern water came to my aid. On moving out they saw fit to use my deposit to redecorate a place that needed a paint job when I moved in! I was shown zero respect down the phone by head office- highly condescending.
