A very bad company. Avoid Avoid Avoid. They will try to take all of your deposit and claim crazy expenses when you end your tenancy with them. Cutting grass of a small front garden will cost you GBP160 .. can you believe it? they are very nice when you sign the contract and then when you go they show you the bad face. AVOID

They took over from our old agents, honestly They do naff all. Our wall is covered in damp and we've been trying to contact them to get someone to come sort it since june, it's now October and I've Got a baby due in 3weeks. Now the wall is completely covered, starting to get sick from it and still they say 'theyre sorting it' are they chuff. Absolutely ridiculous.

Dreadful experience, was asked to act as a guarantor for a friends student and the process was ridiculous! It is as if you are buying the property not just guaranteeing the rent and we are severely liable for the whole house, an archaic position to be in nowadays. Plenty of other letting agencies now offering independent guarantees for the individual tenant only. Avoid this company!

wish it could be zero as many others have said.didnt bother checking when my tenant moved out, didnt bother for three weeks to check it despite me being an overseas landlord, didnt bother to reply to emails, no head office they say to complain to, havent bothered to refund money they took. DO NOT USE THESE , THERE ARE ALWAYS BETTER OPTIONS.sunderland branch who I was dealing with

Emailed and telephoned re flat to let in Scunthorpe, I was told would be in touch with me twice. No communication what so ever and when complained was told several people work in the office, need to send staff on a customer service review. Manager emailed me after reading my review and said don't bother using their company again. Response says it all !!!

I have had to come on and have a read of other people experiences with this estate agents as mine was just awful! I see others have had the same issues as me, my holding deposit was taken and property offered to me and my daughters for them to them re advertise the house on their site! Disgusting

YellTenants beware!
Disinterested agent showed us around rental property. Any questions were met with a 'look at website' comment. No information as to how to complete rental paperwork everything seemed a bother to them. After four weeks in the property the boiler was leaking water and gas. No emergency number to contact simply on on-line portal which doesn't appear to be monitored out of office hours. Tenants should avoid

Went to view a lovely property and my fingers are crossed that my partner will get it.The staff was so helpful and polite and answered any questions we had.We also spoke to a lovely lady named Leah who was very patient.Would definitely recommend this company!

I’m hesitant giving one star! Roath branch are not only rude, they are incompetent. Clearly need a lot more staff training, no one in the office knew the correct laws or how to deal with customers. Stay clear if you want a happy life

Dear All, they are quite prompt while you are still paying your rent, once you have vacated the property after paying all your due, its very very difficult to close other formalities, e.g: Inventory clearance, Deposit clearance. Chasing them since almost 5 months and they are quoting a number of reasons for the delay, something that I cannot validate nor have a visibility on

Hi Carl, We're not removing reviews, we are asking for them to be moved to the correct profile - each office has their own Trustpilot profile where their own reviews are held. All Martin & Co offices are individually owned franchise businesses so it is the business owner who needs to respond to the review. We still monitor all reviews and follow up with the offices concerned. I was looking for a company who were wiling to let out my uninhabitable rental property that was totally devoid of certificates for safety re boilers, electrics and had health issues from crumbling interiors and damp And I found them excellent, no questions asked only the fee agreed, I am now looking for further derelict properties I can purchase secure in the knowledge this company can let them

Please dont trust martin and co wolverhampton branch, very unprofessional and damm care attitude staff, specially tenant service,Communication is the worst, theybdont communicate well, always take good time t reply you back, I dont know how they survive in the market, it's a high time for the company to think about the service they provide through this bunch of unprofessional delegates, it's a time to change.

Would never use these again. The letting agents have very little knowledge of the properties they are selling/renting, they attempt to use scare tactics in order to push their way around and bully you into things that are ILLEGAL. Complaints are rarely handled and when they are they’re done so poorly. Unless you want lots of undue stress, I’d recommend using another agent.

Please avoid. After 6 years of renting I’ve never encountered so many issues as I did with Martin and co. They have falsified information and are trying to extort money from me and my partner. Unlucky for them I was smart enough to have evidence to dispute it. Please be careful they are thieves and they will do anything to steal your money.

The worst agency ever! Don't use them ever. They don't care about tenants issue. Don't listen at all. No need to help. Just focused on money. We meant to move and on the same day of moving they said that we have to wait one more day. When everything we had ready to move. They are no professional at all. Everything in the rush.
