REPLY: I see that Keepmoat has replied. This is the same story they have been telling me for a year and a half. In fact what you have said did not happen. Nobody reached out to me. There are no works booked in to resolve my issue. I purchased a house from Keepmoat in Sheffield at their Pennine Village location in November 2023. Since then, I've faced numerous issues that have been extremely difficult to get resolved. Firstly, on the day I received the keys, I was promised that the floor issues would be fixed. The screed used came apart, leaving holes and an uneven surface, delaying the installation of my carpets and laminate flooring. I paid my first few weeks' mortgage without being able to live in the house. This was only fixed because I insisted. Secondly, my garden flooded every time it rained, making it unusable. It took Keepmoat over six months to fix this, requiring persistent emails and phone calls, which caused significant stress. Lastly, even after a year and a half, my driveway still collects water whenever it rains, creating puddles that I have to step into when exiting my car. Despite numerous attempts and promises to send an engineer, no one has shown up to fix the drainage issue. I strongly advise getting any promises of repairs in writing before completing the purchase, so you have legal grounds to press charges if needed. The quality of Keepmoat homes is disgraceful for the price, and their customer service is awful. I will pursue this with NHBC and consider legal action if necessary. I do not recommend buying a house from Keepmoat due to the stress and poor quality of their homes and service. When contacting the customer service for an issue for example the shower, they basically told me I am using the shower wrong, so pathetic. I have attached their email response. LOOK AT THE PICTURES BEFORE BUYING. JUST TO NOTE, THOSE ARE NOT THE ONLY ISSUES.

Timewasters. Spent several weeks trying to get a response to some basic questions I had about a plot being advertised at this development, only to be faced with a series of out of office messages and responses which didn't answer my queries. Two weeks after I first got in touch I managed to schedule a viewing at Keepmoat's Eclipse development about a mile away from Pennine Village (which involved taking annual leave), only to arrive and find the Sales Executive was busy with another meeting and clearly not expecting me (even though i'd booked an appointment slot). I wasn't able to get any answers to my queries during this visit and the whole thing felt like a massive waste of time and my annual leave allowance. After Pennine Village's original Sales Executive returned from being on holiday I managed to get some answers to the questions I had first submitted over three weeks earlier, but was then told that apparently the Easymove scheme (which as I write is still being advertised on their website) was not available on the only plot currently listed on Keepmoat's Pennine Village webpage because apparently that plot is now "near the roof stage". No information or timescales were forthcoming about future properties at the development where the Easymove scheme would be available (which seems very strange to me - surely if you're building a housing development you have a rough idea of when each plot is going to be finished and available for sale?), so i've completely given up on the process and have shifted my interest to purchasing elsewhere. Maybe if they'd responded to me when I first enquired in July the plot wouldn't have been near the roof stage and I'd have been able to purchase it using their Easymove scheme. Unfortunately I feel like i've been messed around, not taken seriously as a buyer (even though I have a decision in principle from my current mortage provider and a property I wanted to sell through Easymove so I could port my current mortgage deal over to a house at Pennine Village) and as a result no longer have any interest in this development, or any others being built by Keepmoat if this is the level of service to expect from them.
