Charlie Bainbridge handled the purchase of our house, which completed earlier in August. The process was far from straightforward, but Charlie's support made it significantly smoother than it otherwise would have been. He communicated clearly and consistently, was always on hand to answer our queries, and was genuinely friendly and easy to deal with throughout. Whenever hurdles came up, he was proactive in addressing them and quick to find solutions. We'd couldn't recommend Charlie enough, and wouldn't hesitate to use him again if and when we come to sell.

To be honest, I’m not normally too complementary of estate agent but Strutt and Parker Sevenoaks and Charlie Bainbridge, Shirley and Sarah all did an amazing job on our recent house purchase. Charlie was always available to answer any questions and was an excellent conduit between buyer and seller. Hopefully this is my last house move but if this is not the case, will definitely use Strutt and Parker going forward.

Victoria was excellent right from the start. Although we decided not to sell during last years difficult housing market Victoria kept in regular contact over the winter until we started marketing in the spring. During the run up to Exchange of Contracts, Victoria was very calming, gently nudging us, our buyers and the two sets of solicitors during what for most people is a very stressful stage. I'd have no hestitation in recommending Victoria going forward.

Victoria Rose at S&P Sevenoaks has been an excellent partner as we went about the sale of my late father's house. Careful preparation of the marketing material in discussion with us, helpful navigation through the ID regulatory maze, and regular communication throughout the difficult market situation. When it came to engaging with potential buyers she managed viewings very smoothly and gave prompt feedback. We always knew exactly what was going on and what issues had to be handled. Sitting between buyer and seller can be tricky, and we always felt she was on top of things and working to get the best for us.

Aaron Turner at Strutt and Parker - excellent sales agent and negotiator

We don’t normally write reviews, but in this case, my wife and I were so impressed and happy with the service provided by Strutt and Parker, and in particular by Aaron Turner, that I felt I should, in the true spirit of reviews, to offer help to those who are seeking insight into Strutt and Parker! We selected Strutt and Parker because we liked the clear market insights and the realistic approach to marketing our house, offered by Aaron Turner at our initial meeting. Once selected Aaron Turner was directly responsible for acting on our sale, but he did so much more, working to coordinate agents and solicitors above and below us in the chain, as well as keeping communications open and frequent with our buyers even when things went temporarily wrong in the chain. Friendly, calm, sensible, frequent and reliable communication from Aaron, what more could be desired?

Best estate agent we have dealt with

We have just exchanged contracts on a house marketed by Strutt & Parker, and Aaron Turner has been a delight to work with. Although he was acting for the vendor, he invested more time and energy in keeping our purchase moving than our own estate agents did with our sales. He is calm, measured, experienced, and a great communicator. When my partner’s sale fell through and we had to pull out of the chain temporarily, Aaron was constructive and realistic about the steps needed to get things moving again quickly. Today we exchanged not only on our purchase, but also on the sales of both our properties, and Aaron has kept up momentum behind the scenes by proactively contacting all parties involved. Having experienced good, mediocre and poor estate agents in the past, Aaron, and by extension Strutt & Parker, stands out as the best we have dealt with.

After an unsuccessful attempt to sell our home the previous year, we invited Victoria Rose from Strutt & Parker Sevenoaks to meet with us in January. We were impressed with Victoria's knowledge and enthusiasm and her belief that it was entirely possible for us to be moving out of our home by June. Thanks to Victoria's stellar organisational, selling, communications and case management skills, that belief is now a reality. As with any complex process, communication is key to a successful outcome. Victoria personally conducted nearly all of our viewings and would update us almost instantly about how the viewing went. When issues arose, she promptly informed us of the situation and took action to find a solution. We never 'wondered' what was happening or how things were progressing--Victoria kept us fully in the loop, with her reassuringly calm approach and welcome sense of humour. When the time came to consider multiple offers, Victoria put forward a transparent and simple strategy ensuring that all parties had a fair shot. I was surprised and disappointed and so sent an e-mail to Andrew Harwood on 06th Mar, their Residential Director in Sevenoaks to make him aware and ask someone to call me as matter or urgency.
