GoogleI have just completed a second sale with Humberts Sevenoaks. Both properties were unique and in a bad condition. On the first occasion, I worked primarily with Glynn and on the second with Millie (as well as with some of their colleagues). They were fantastic thoughout and I recommend them whole-heartedly. Excellent advice, energy, communication and people skills.

GoogleMy partner and I had a fantastic experience with Millie, she was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the entire process. Although dealing with solicitors made the purchase stressful, every time we spoke with Millie, she put us at ease and reassured us that everything would be fine. She was consistently responsive and dependable.

I was on Humberts mailing list - looking to buy a UK property. In February 2019 they sent out a mass mailing to nearly 500 people with all the email addresses on display, including mine. In their apology - send within the hour - they did it again! They say they have proper safeguards in place, that their staff can't ignore them and that this was "human error". To minimise the risk to me and my business I have changed my email address and notified my various contacts - friends, family, business associates and service providers, etc. This cost me a day of my time for which I have billed Humberts £200, less than half my usual rate. They refuse to pay. They have trivialised the problem - the increased risk to my data and that of my clients. Humberts say I should take my complaint up with the ICO. The ICO, of course, require organisations to deal with the problems they have caused and not use ICO routinely as a second stage resolution service. Humberts have broken the law. A mistake is one thing - how a company deals with it tells you all you need to know about them. Don't use Humberts if you value your privacy.

Thank you for your review. Respecting the privacy of our clients is foremost in everything we do but on this occasion the policies and safeguards we implemented were not adhered to. This is something we have since rectified.

I question the professionalism of this company. 2 weeks ago, arranged to see a property in Spain via their Purto Banus office. Contacted office before I left the UK to ensure property was still available. Took me on a tour of 6 other properties before I asked about the one I really came to see. I was informed it was sold and a deposit had been paid. 2 weeks later, it is still on their website and Rightmove. i am not allowed to post the link to prove my case. Make your own conclusion

GoogleJust completed and moved to Sevenoaks with the help of the great team at Humberts. Our main contact Will was great to work with, as were the rest of the team who supported. While I hope I don't have to buy again for a long time,I'd definitely use them again!

GoogleWe were recommended to Humberts Sevenoaks to sell our property. Will Bankes negotiated our sale, which went through very quickly, taking advantage of the stamp duty holiday. Will was always very helpful and professional. We would highly recommend the Humberts service.

I feel obliged to review my experience with Humberts following a telephone call this morning. I'm so disappointed in the lack of compassion and interest they showed. Their advice is to look at properties below my budget and expect to overpay. He showed no interest in our willingness to make an offer but to instead clearly wanted to gouge for the maximum amount possible. It's a difficult market, but this absolutely callous lack of interest in buyers will burn Estate Agents when the market turns around. We will remember.

I phoned the York branch today because I need to buy in a hurry, ideally this weekend. I enquired about a property and the gentleman asked if I was the "difficult" lady who had called the other day. I said I hadn't called before. He went on to explain why this lady was difficult (she appeared to be worried about shadows from trees stopping light from entering the house - a perfectly valid concern when spending £1.5m) I am, apparently, just "another difficult lady" Troublesome women - we should all know our place really, shouldn't we?

GoogleBefore putting my aunt’s house on the market, it needed some TLC! William Bankes, who came to value the property, suggested various things that could be improved before selling. Humberts organised all the work on my behalf including tidying the garden, repairing some flooring in the kitchen, replacing the basin in the bathroom and a general tidy and removal of rubbish. I couldn’t be happier and the property will be going on the market soon … with Humberts!

GoogleI sold my house in Sevenoaks through Humberts and found them to be very professional and friendly. William handled the sale and Tracey prepared all the excellent marketing material. They found a buyer quickly and the sale went through smoothly. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with and I didn’t hesitate in recommending them to family members and friends when they wanted to sell their properties. A first class service all round.
