Nadim was honestly brilliant throughout the whole sale of my flat. It definitely wasn’t the easiest or most straightforward sale, and we seemed to hit hurdle after hurdle along the way, but Nadim was always on it and did everything he could to keep things moving. He was constantly communicating between myself and the buyer, chasing where needed and helping to sort out every issue that came up. It made such a difference having someone who genuinely seemed to care about getting the sale through rather than just leaving us to chase everything ourselves. There were definitely times when I wondered if we would ever get to completion, so I’m really grateful to Nadim for all his help, patience and persistence in getting us there in the end! Arthur has been extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Initially we ended up a bit late to our first viewing but we went straight to the 2nd property instead and there were no issues. He drove us to the next property which was very nice, while being conversational and telling us about shortcuts to the station and other useful tips. After the 2nd viewing he dropped us off near the station. We ended up not going for any of the properties however he has already since sent us a lot more links to houses which are more suited for our budget.

Negligent Damage caused by Streets Ahead

I am a neighbour of a property managed by Streets Ahead. There has been an ongoing bedbug infestation at the neighbours property since at least February which is spreading into my home. I have had to pay out of pocket to have my home treated despite the fact that legal advice I've sought states that the landlord is responsible for the fact bedbugs are entering my home, and that this constitutes negligent damage. I have continuously raised this issue to streets ahead and the issue is still not resolved, and streets ahead are unwilling to pay for my trestment. The tenants of the property are likely spreading bedbugs throughout the community. I have raised the issue with the Property Ombudsman and am hoping for a response.

It's all started from a first day of…

It's all started from a first day of moving in, when the room wasn't cleaned and when more and more problems came out including fire risk alarm beeping and no one bothered to answer the requests from 6 tenants. It's three months after I've left and still didn't get my deposit back, no answer to multiple emails. Also the claim put through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme is left without any answer for over a month. They will do everything to get your money and then forget about you. Disgraceful company, avoid the future problems. Thornton Heath branch and Head Office. Looks like it's time to do legal action.
