Absolutely amazing from the start. Went to view a property last week late afternoon, once viewing the property i put in an application to rent the property and was told it could take up to a week for the referencing to come back, the following morning I received a phone called to confirm all my referencing has passed and to arrange a move in date. In all my time renting this has been the most fastest and less stressful experience I have ever experienced while renting a property! They have been so supportive and very helpful from the get go and have also sent me emails to help set up new bills at the new property which has helped alot and really has just took so much stress away. When receiving the keys yesterday the checks done on the property was so professional and every smoke alarm was checked and any not working was replaced immediately with brand new replacements in their cars. Could not be more thankful for how smooth the whole process has gone and how helpful and professional Tracy and the team has been. Absolutely amazing experience and a massive thanks to Tracy and the team at the Blackburn branch! Would highly recommend this company if your looking for a less stressful, professional and very speedy experience. A***

We rented out our property

We rented out our property, signed for a full management. Was is a THEFT, unlawfull enriechment into their pocket? Entwistle Green/Countrywide made two incorrect HMRC annual reports that hid their real income and incorrectly made our higher income, ignored our complaints; they also deducted our income rental money by £710 per repairs without a quote, photos, documentation provided to us, and totally ignored our complaints. They done it again. Nobody cared. Another time, they deducted our rental income for repairs that has not been done. Their negligence, ignorance, careless, and damages to our house showed after one rental year, after second year, the market value of our property dropped down by £30000 from year 2023 when cash offer was offerred as high as £139000 by a fast buyer when we maintained our house by ourselves and kept it in tip top condition, inside and outside, before Entwistle Green took over the management. Entwistle Green left the tenants in unrepaired house over Christmas with leaking water on tenants' heads. We terminated the contract, no full check-out report, no inspection report to changes they made to our house with water, electricity or gas, installed a new kitchen without any permission, the house was left after tenants moved out leaving damages, a dirt, a mess. In addition, unclaimed insurance, unpaid rent, the repairs in 2025 and 2026 paid from our rental income deducted without our consent or permission, the value of our property dropped down by £30000 as Entwistle Green left it, ignored our complaints, Entwitle Green is a part of Countrywide Group and Connells Group. Nobody cared. Is it way do deal with clients? Is this way of their wellfare? Their ignorance, putting phone down, refusing to say their name, no replies, missing rental invome, chaos-mess in their money reserve that did not match the figures, negligence, nonody knew what the other person was doing, several people answered differently or the opposite facts,...

Couldn't recommend more

After being scammed with purple bricks I was very weary especially having 2 young children! However from start to finish entwistle green was really helpful really good with communication and couldnt of got the location or house any better for us it has took me 5 days in my new house for it to sink in but I cannot recommend entwistle green enough! Obstructive and awful experience

This is a review for the Bury branch. I am an 84 year old widow and I am absolutely disgusted with the way this company acts, and I will be pursuing them further, through the Property Ombudsmen. They were not providing an adequate service, with hidden charges and poor value for money, and when I tried to change to a different estate agent they claimed they were not receiving any emails. I know for a fact they were sent these emails by the other estate agents, as we were cc'd in the email chain, and Entwistle Green are just being deliberately obstructive. They have carried on in this way for the past few weeks, and they are causing me a lot of stress.

This company are thieves. Beware of them. They call you unlimited to convince you to rent a property and when you pay Deposite they tell you that your reff failed and hold onto your money. They do it to immigrants and target people of black race. They target immigrant who newly migrated to the company and try to get money from them. They defrauded us 1 week Deposite. Thieves. Be aware of Entwistle Green, Countrywide Group, under Connells Group in the UK

We signed a contract for full management with Entwistle Green in Widnes (co-firm of Countrywide and Connells Group) to rent out our property. They caused us damage on a value of our property by about £30000. They concealed their income in Annual tax report to HMRC repeatedly, ignored our complaints, refused to do check up, charged us money for work which has not been supported by any evidence, they charged us for uncomplete services, they have not cared about the law and the rights, they puy phone down or did not pick up their phone, the have not replied, ignored us to provide the documentation, they told answers differently from thr facts, and also the opposite between their workers, they caused irretrievable damages to us-landlord. Entwistle Green and Countrywide team went on Christmas holiday and knowingly left a leaking water on the tenants' heads. They were irresponsible ignorants, uselest unprofessionals, told us the lies, has not provided documentation and services ordered by the law, uncomplete documentatipn, reports, in entory, and check-out report for which they charged us they deducted our rental income without any documentation, quotes, photos for and after repairs, they allowed tenants to change a whole kitchen without our consent, if they changed gas, electricity, or water they had not made the revision reports, they caused us-the landlord many problems, they have not cared about 6x unpaid rent in two months arrears but told us that everything was fine, that the tenants were happy. They made us to feel that we were robbed and the law was ineffective to protect us-the landlord.

I can't thank the Maghull Office in Merseyside enough for the help support and commitment the team provided throughout the purchase of my home. The knowledge, skills and abikity the team have is amazing, and although they are very busy, they always had time to help and assist. Communication was excellent throughout my purchase, to include excellent interpersonal skills that always made me feel reassured. The branch Manager Sarah and Georgia were totally amazing at their job and really lovely people. Sam, who was my financial advisor was truly both a lovely person and excellent at his job. I arrived in Warrington in January knowing nobody in the city. Searching a flat online did not help a lot. Walking by entwistle green i decided to enter and ask for more info! Luckily Mrs Dora Seimeni was there who was more than helpful. After she showed me some flats in the city, indecided to review one. Dora could not be more helpful really, she explained everything thoroughly and helped me understand how the bills work, how to accommodate etc. being totally new in the country knowing nothing, i m thankful that i found her. Entwistle Green as well was immediately next to me when something needed to be fixed in my flat! 5 stars, can’t recommend enough both the agency and my agent Dora.

Awful experience would not use again

Awful experience would not use again. I dealt with Gary Trappe at the Burnley branch. He valued our property for £15,000 more than it was sold for at auction where we had felt pressured to sell. Apart from the initial contact to sign the contract I never heard from him again even though he had been kept in the loop via email communication with the suction company - I am sold. It was particularly misleading and deceptive as we had signed a contract less than a month ago with him and there had been no mention of the valuation price changing and certainly not by that much. Either the valuation price had deliberately been set high to entice us or they hadn’t pushed the sale. We ended up making a loss of £15,000 using them and their auction company. They care about getting their fees paid and they really don’t care to make you the maximum from the sale. To that end they do the bare minimum. I would not use again because they don’t consider your best interest only their own.

Crap service

My experience was very poor when using them for selling property via Flyp. They did not respond promptly to the buyers when their colleague was on leave and no one covered that colleague's work/monitored the email. The deal was nearly fell through because of it!
