From Adam..the branch manager .to charles who mostly does the viewings ,.and louise and Sue in the branch.,,and anyone else who IV spoken with ,,every time I speak to them they are very helpful..polite .professional and most of all really cheerful. .. If anyone is thinking of putting there property on the market go to skitts in sedgley .they will.provide a really good professional.service and get your property sold at good value . The photographs which were taken were really professional.and gave the property a good selling point .. GoogleWas buying a flat through these, agreed a sale price and was over the moon. Unfortunately after doing searches there is a bill that wasn’t told to me before I agreed a purchase price. They then told me it’s something that there vendor was aware of, but because I was getting the flat at a good price they thought I’d be fine with the big bill. Afterwards I sent them an email to send to the vendor to renegotiate. I was then told that the vendor was upset I accused him of knowing, so due to skitts making me look bad I’ve now missed out on a purchase. Skitts deny telling me that the vendor knew to keep them in a good light. I put my offer back on the table after finding the funds needs to help pay for a HUGE bill on top of the asking price which wasn’t negotiable. To be told that they’ve now sold to someone else even with me being ready to exchange this week. So due to skitts lying to me then making me look bad to the vendor I’ve now lost out. Wouldn’t recommend using :). In response to the person behind a computer screen stating where I work, yes I work at a very good estate agents, one where if I was informed about a £5250 bill, I’d of informed the buyer before making him spend close to £1000 on solicitor fees :) so obviously you’ve also advised the vendor to not continue with myself, which as an estate agents you should know you can’t advise your clients who to accept or decline :) and thankyou for telling us what the new buyer brought the property for :) bet they’d be well happy with you disclosing that information before completion. I do wish there was a training guide for you guys but obviously not
Mr Dams works for Connells and his one star review has arisen as a consequence of his decision to withdraw from a proposed purchase having first attempted to renegotiate a lower price at the last minute, based on a matter which had previously been dealt with to his apparent satisfaction. We were instructed by our client to immediately remarket the property and can report that we had a list of waiting buyers and were able to secure a new, motivated and fully qualified purchaser at the asking price. Mr Dams subsequently decided that he didn’t want to withdraw after all and demanded to proceed with his original purchase, but our client no longer trusted his integrity and instructed us to continue in good faith with a new buyer. Based on his disingenuous actions and bearing in mind he is an estate agent for Connells, we would suggest that his one star review may be better directed elsewhere.
