GoogleUnfortunately had to go through these to buy a property. Would run a mile if saw again. Renata was extremely rude towards the end and with the issues we had risen 2+ months prior they were not resolved and almost put on ourselves to deal with. The manager did step in and was much easier to speak to but doesn’t take away the whole house buying process was utterly ruined with no support.

GoogleHornsby Estate Agents recently dealt with the sale of my mother-in-laws property and the service received throughout the process was first class. We were kept up to date at all times during the process and both Renata and Maggi were excellent keeping us up to date with developments. I would highly recommend Hornsby Estate Agents

GoogleThank you to Renata and the team at Hornsby Estate Agents in helping me secure my first home. From start to finish, the service, communication and helpfulness was excellent. I was kept updated via email and calls on a regular basis and when we hit a few bumps along the way, Renata went above and beyond to help get things back on track again. Nothing was ever too much and I will always appreciate the reassurance, guidance and knowledge in helping make the whole situation a lot less stressful. GoogleRenata has had a tough time with our recent house sale, though no fault of herself. Renata remained efficient and professional through some tough negotiations, well done. If I may just add, as a member of the older generation, I did sometimes find it difficult to follow some conversations as you do tend to speak quickly, I hope you will take this comment as a positive, as if no one gives you feedback how will you know. GoogleDealt with the elder lady a few years ago and she made a false promise of me getting the flat I applied for, so I got mad at her about it as i had already rented my van for the date I was told I would likely receive the keys. I recently went in about a house I saw and have figured out that she has basically blacklisted me from getting a house/flat with them. This kind of professionalism is unacceptable when you are supposed to be helping people find a place to live.

So please be aware that if we were unable to help you with your enquiry there would be a legitimate professional reason perhaps the house you enquired about had been applied for.or was under offer. GoogleVery disappointed when dealing with them. Many listings that are already taken & continued to be listed up for 1week+. They have contacted me twice, both times about properties I had not enquired about (1 was out of the price range I had provided them) and they have not yet acknowledged the application I filled in for the property I was interested in. It reminds me of a commission only sales office, not an estate agents. (Just for clarification, I was not informed about the properties being removed. I was not contacted relating to any property I expressed interest in. And the houses offered we're done so with the wording 'you have expressed interest in...' on properties I have not shown interest in.)

How do landlords expect to have their properties rented out when they won’t even get back to potential tenants? Disappointing

GoogleI have been dealing with Hornsby Estate Agents for more than 20yrs. I have a great relationship with Maggie at all times. The staff are brilliant. However, I really have to praise both Robyn and Catherine, as I have had a lot of communications with them both over the last 6 months. They both work in different fields within the company. Their standards of customer service are highly applaudable. They never make promises they cant keep, they always keep me updated of my transaction. They both are very approachable and I feel they know me very well. This is the reason I do not go to any other Estate Agent. Lastly Robyn .. thankyou for contacting me regarding my time line for submitting my DPS. Keep the excellent customer service.

GoogleEnquired about a few properties through these guys, to start with, they never get in contact with you, you constantly have to chase them. Myself and partner have had no end of issues with them, we tried to set up a property viewing with them, to then be told we were black listed to failing to attend, I informed them we had emailed to let them know we could no longer make the appointment, they refused all knowledge of the emails, so when I forwarded them a copy of the email regarding the cancellation, they moved the goal posts and said “well it was to X email address” basically shirking all responsibilities of actually looking through there inboxes, I made a formal complaint and asked to speak to there lettings manager, the girl I spoke to was very rude, very disrespectful and shouldn’t be in the line of work she’s in, would do better behind a till at the pound shop. I was told via email, the letting manager would contact me regarding the complaint, it’s now roughly three to four weeks since I was sent that email and I’ve still yet to hear anything from this estate agent. If you’re looking to buy / rent / sell or let out, I’d full heartedly recommend you use a different estate agent, as these ones don’t seem to keen on getting people into the properties they’ve been raked with managing on behalf of there clients. 100% avoid Hornsby estate agent.
Dear Mr Coates I am sorry you were unhappy with the service you received at Hornsby's. I understand you arranged to view a property and failed to attend. We telephoned you before we left the office for the viewing, again when we arrived at the property and you failed to show, and again one hour later, when we returned to the office.We can find no evidence that you cancelled the viewing nor that you responded to our voice mails. We conduct 30-50 successful viewings weekly and do our best to accommodate peoples circumstances. Once again I am sorry we were unable to satisfy your particular needs. Martin Hornsby

GoogleI have recently moved to the city and been with Hornsby Estate Agents for 6 months now, and have just renewed my tenancy agreement for further 12 months. I am very impressed with the care and professional behaviour that I have received from Mr Hornsby, Magie and the rest of the team. Despite being extremely busy with clients, they have been very responsive, and are really flexible to meet their tenant's needs and I feel so lucky to have been renting a place with the best housing agency in the area. I also have many friends who have had pleasant experiences with them, and so, I would highly recommend Hornsby Estate Agents.

Jack was a star, and guide us through the process very well; nothing was too much trouble for him, million emails and phone calls, he was always there to help and offer support.
