Allen and Harris Estate Agents Shawlands did achieve 10% more than I was expecting hence the three star ratings. However, I would not recommend the Connells group as they are a disgrace to the profession. They work from sales scripts and in two separate branches I withdrew my offers as all the agents do is keep you waiting for an answer even when you are promised a date they will get back to you. The expectation is that you will keep on increasing your offer. As for the mortgage advisor I walked away as I had to keep on chasing. The advisor run my figures through my current provider and said a lower figure to what my provider offered going direct. Even worse, when I went for my mortgage appointment I was kept waiting for 45 minutes as the agents were giving me the hard sell on a property that I had withdrawn my offer due to their sales tactics.

Horrible company to work with ! Had bought a house from them, unfortunately my sale fell through, But still wanted to buy the property, asked for time to re-sell my property. I then discovered that they had re-marketed the property without telling me. After various calls was led believe if I sold my property I would get the property. Zero communication , felt all under and was led on !. Would recommend anyone to boycott Allen and Harris as they crooks. Recommend to watch bbc Panorama on estates agent as they feature.

Cannot thank Gary Lindsay and Martin Ward enough for their incredible support! I sold my home via Allen & Haris where initially I wanted my home valued and sooner than later I decided I would like to buy a new home based on how positive Martin had been when he first came to visit the property and provide other additional information! Shortly after, house was on the market and it’s fantastic to share my house was sold and a new one was bought within the space of 6/7 weeks! The entire experience was made so easy for me as Gary Lindsay did not fail to step back when things got uneasy for me. Buying and selling within a short space of time definitely had its ups and downs but the estate agent did not leave my side once and went out of their way to make this experience a great one! Disappointing Experience of simply trying to get a home report (and possibly set up a viewing for a property if home report was to my liking) via both Rightmove/their own website/calling them about a place I was interested in for a fortnight and no reply Only time I got any expedited reply was when on one of the several requests i ticked the "yes I have a property to be valued option" and got prompt enough reply in regards to that, but as soon as I requested the home report again from that person as i would need somewhere to move to first, back to radio silence, finally get to speak to someone else today and no luck due to the property has an offer pretty much accepted, would have been nice to have that option myself
