We are really happy that we used Thomas and May Merstham to sell our two bedroom flat. Thomas and May was local to us which was helpful and reassuring. From the very first meeting, to carrying out viewings, then securing a buyer the communication was fantastic. When viewings were agreed you would get a confirmation email which was helpful. Staff were also very friendly and professional - especially Robin and Christine. Thank you again for making the experience less stressful and for always being approachable and available to speak. We highly recommend and are appreciative of the positive experience.

Robin and Co at Thomas and May are excellent estate agents. I bought my first home with them, they later helped rent it out for a year, and I then sold with them a decade later. They have been helpful and professional throughout. There is a genuine interest to help, and Robin's honest and sage advice at each stage is invaluable. Whilst a certain stereotype regarding estate agents exists, if more agents were like Thomas and May, I can confidently say this wouldn't be the case. I can't recommend them enough. Christine and Robin have been kind, honest, professional and easy to communicate with throughout our 18m on the market. From first meeting we could see Robin had plenty of local knowledge and experience, and we respected his openness and integrity. Photos were lovely, and we particularly appreciated being able to ask Robin for informal advice throughout the process, including when there was no commercial gain for him. Christine is friendly and efficient and always took great care to work round our family circumstances when booking viewings, we felt understood and never pressured. All in all a lovely team, we'd have no hesitation in recommending them to friends :)

We bought and sold through Thomas and May and would 100% recommend them! We didn't actually consider anyone else when it came to sell as we had such a positive experience buying through them. The whole team were professional and dedicated and Robin went over and above to make sure things were happening and the sale went through. Fantastic Estate Agent! I’m so pleased that we chose Thomas & May to sell our late parents property. Throughout the entire process of listing the property Robin and the team were very proactive. We received emails as well as confirmation phone calls for any viewings plus viewing feedback via email or follow up phone calls. The team were sending out details of the property to prospective buyers as well as calling them which obviously contributed very positively to the number of viewings and offers made. My 2 sisters and I are all so pleased that our family home, that we all loved and grew up in, has been purchased by a young couple who are first time buyers much the same as our parents who bought the house in 1957. Rob has been a constant help throughout the entire process, going above and beyond to assist me with my switch to a buy to let mortgage, and with vetting the tenants. Thomas and May always seem to have the best houses on sale in the area! You have to trust your estate agent implicitly. Having had three local estate agents fail to keep the valuation appointment, one of those even failed to keep the re-arranged appointment, Thomas and May got a head start by keeping appointments with excellent punctuality. Made appointing them for our sale very easy. Robin demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the local market his valuation being spot on. Once appointed he and his team put together excellent marketing information and it was not long before he had found the right buyer. We bought our first property recently and they were helpful when there was a mix up with the first viewing and managed to get someone out to meet us as they were very close by. Then on our second viewing our train was canceled but they managed to fit us in later in the day. They were very good at replying to emails in a timely fashion and friendly to deal with.
