Having purchased our house through Paul Meakin, we had no hesitation when it came to selling to go back to them. Excellent service from all the team, Emma was amazing throughout and thanks to Gill the sale was progressed through incredibly quickly. Just a shame all agents aren't the same.

Really thought we would never find the perfect home, however during our very long search all the staff at Paul Meakin showed professionalism,patience & understanding and a genuine desire to support us throughout. Once we found the perfect home Paul Meakin in only a few days Sold our property to a perfect buyer, I would highly recommend this independent agent who works for you and not just interested in hitting targets as the corporate agents, I believe this company is truly customer focused and puts the customer first.

TrustpilotDifficult to deal with as a tenant experience
Was a tenant to a Paul Meakin managed property for a year and a half; during this time the communication between myself and the landlord was extremely difficult with the estate agents just forwarding emails back and forth rather than supporting either party and sometimes not flagging important messages and often slow replies. This then carried on with leaving the property with them unfairly withholding the full deposit without supporting evidence; when we tried to negiotiate a proportion of the deposit back they did not respond in a helpful way - this was disputed with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme in which the majority of the deposit was returned. Overall found the experience poor and would not rent another property if it was managed by Paul Meakin.

Thank you for your feedback and review, we are sorry to receive your 1star review. The landlord was not satisfied with the property after your let. As the agent we felt you were good tenants but the landlord decided to dispute the return of your full deposit which was out of our control. Up to this point the lettings team felt you had been happy with how we supported your let, we are sorry the end result decided by TDS (a third party) did not go in your favour.

We have recently had to walk away from a purchase via Paul Meakin, through no fault of ours or theirs. Despite the disappointment, I have to say that the staff at Paul Meakin in Selsdon have been amazing. We have sadly had a number of property chains fall apart this year and have met a number of different agents; without doubt they have been the best we've worked with so far. We've been kept in the loop very regularly re progress and the team (Gill in particular) has been tenacious and dedicated in trying to resolve some pretty tricky issues and keep things moving forward. Amy has also been a great support, taking us to a number of viewings, and being a great sounding board for our ideas about the house.Can't recommend the team highly enough, and just sad that all their efforts on our behalf haven't resulted in the completed sale they deserve. thank you!

All the staff at Selsdon were helpful and efficient. My house went on the market on March 1st and was sold on 22nd March. All the viewings were carried with care and regard for my home. I would certainly recommend Paul Meakin

We need not have worried … Emma and her Team were superbly helpful, providing any advice needed, and helpful contacts when asked. Communication was brilliant throughout the entire process.
