Marcus handled my anxiety exceptionally well and kept me informed of what was happening at each step of the process and in-between as reassurance. GoogleHad arranged a viewing today for a property priced at 46k. Yesterday I had organised a mortgage in principle for the full amount. Today they cancelled the viewing 1 hour before. I spoke to estate agent who said the received a “acceptable” offer this morning. I told the estate agent I was willing to view and possibly could offer more then the 46k asking price. The estate agents said it’s ok they would let me know if it falls through. What a joke .. if they where acting in the best interest of there client.. they would of took the viewing and gave the best offer to there client. In short don’t use this estate agent to sell your home. They rather a easy sale then getting up out there chair and doing there job . Should of took the viewing and put my offer to there client and got the most money for there client.NegativeProfessionalism
Hello Mr Campbell. Thank you for taking the time to discuss your review in person with me today. Following this, I would like to clarify the points regarding your disappointing feedback. The property in question already had an offer accepted early in October. However, late last week, there had been some doubt whether the sale was going to proceed. Therefore, we had received instructions from our client (the Vendor) to remarket the property and commence with viewings again. It was confirmed (to us) just over one hour prior to your appointment that the sale was still to go ahead. The instructions received from our client were to cancel any further viewings and to commence with the existing sale. This decision was based on the original buyer's more favorable buying position and since the sale was already proceeding with solicitors which had made reasonable progress. I appreciate that you were given very short notice. Although this was out of our control, we apologise for this. However, we did cancel the appointment at the very earliest opportunity following our instructions with the hope of not causing any further inconvenience to you. We had expressed to our client that you may ‘possibly’ offer higher, but due to the points above and our client’s enthusiasm to complete a sale, it was agreed to continue with the existing buyer. Comparing buying positions and likely timescales to complete a purchase. I can confirm that we acted in our client’s best interest and followed their instructions. I would also like to confirm (following your review) that no official offer was made by you. Had you made an official offer, of course, this would have been presented to our client for their consideration. In summary, I fully appreciate your frustration. We are currently facing unprecedented times (within the property market) with demand by far outstripping supply. Unfortunately, many potential buyers are missing out on desired opportunities (to purchase) for many reasons. However, I do hope with all the above in mind that you appreciate the decision made by our client. As my colleague stated, we will certainly make you aware should the property become available again. Also, if you would like to be placed on our mailing list, we can make you aware of any other opportunities that are likely to arise. FacebookGrimwood Estates are efficient, friendly and extremely attentive. When I was selling my property they kept me fully informed of developments throughout the process. They were always available to offer genuine help when problems arose and went that extra mile proving that they are the best local agent in the area. I’ve used other local agents in the past and none come anywhere near the standard of Grimwoods. GoogleCouldn't really ask for more from Rob and Rebecca at Grimwoods who I sold my property through. I never had any problems with contacting them, whether that be in arranging in person meetings, phone or email. The photos and 360 tour of the house were of a high standard and the fees they charge are overall extremely good value. Would definitely use again.

GoogleWe have just completed the sale of our property with Grimwood Estates, we have received an excellent service from start to finish, kept us upto date at every step, extremely polite and professional, we knew it was going to take longer than normal to get through the process but that is down to the market at the moment and solicitors taking longer at their end, I would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them.

GoogleDon't seem interested in replying to emails to arrange viewings on properties for sale. Due to work commitments I can only get in touch by email most of the time. Other Estate Agents seem to respond even if there has been an offer made on a property.

GoogleI decided to use a local Estate Agent rather than a national company as I work away a lot if the time, so I chose Grimwood Estates who were professional, communication was excellent and they were attentive. Rob came to value the house and when I decided to go forward with the sale, he and his Team were straight on with it producing a little video tour too. I sold my house within a month which was brilliant. They made selling my house stress less which was great. They were always quick to respond to any queries especially through the difficult times we have had this year due to Covid-19 lockdowns. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend their services.

FacebookI have used Grimwoods before when we sold our previous home and couldn't fault the service we received so we had no hesitation in using them again! When Rob came to value our property he was fantastic, very friendly and easy to talk too. The marketing Grimwoods have in place to show your property too its full potential is outstanding, from numerous websites, floor plans and virtual tours to the amazing photography and property details. We were on Righmove for all of 20 minutes before we had a call from Tom asking if somebody could view our house! If you want a honest, professional, friendly and hard working Estate Agent marketing your property you need to give Grimwoods a call!

FacebookApsalutely terrable esstate agents very rude staff unprofessional speaking from personal expereance when things needed repairing in the property i was living in when esstate agents were telephoned to get the repairs done people who i spoke to at the esstate agents would just bluff there way through things and jobs would not get completed e.g main heating system eventually had to contact the council to come out to property to investigate the full property upon the council visit suprisingly it wasnt the first time they had visited the property for the problems especially the main heating system. Grimeoods estate agents very very unprofessional rude arrogant service my personal opinion from personal experiance

They have chased solicitors and management companies and attended additional viewing so we could try to plan for when we finally completed. Always friendly and professional.
