Dear Mr Kinghorn, Thank you for your review, and I had previously posted that I would love to hear from you on any issues that you have had with service provided. I have not received a response and I know that you are not in fact a client of Jordan And Mason. I can see from our files that you purchased a property from one of our sellers and quite late in the sales process Asked for a significant reduction in the asking price. Our job as the sellers agent is to scrutinise any last minute renegotiation and to be sure that any proposed works are genuine. The quotations that you provided were quite high and we took second opinions that were certainly more realistic. We regret that your review is quite low, but I must stress to you that our role is to act in the best interest of the selling client and to ensure fairness exists between the parties. We know that many purchasers want to get a discount on their purchase price, although it is deemed unreasonable, for whatever reason, we as agents, have to truly understand the extent of everything and give recommendations to the client, who is of course is the seller. We do understand that as agents, we have a duty of care to our buyers, but ultimately we do represent the seller and we are the sellers agent.
