The service from the Rye office team I received has been outstanding. I chose Rush, Witt and Wilson because Ralph Popple’s valuation visit was by far the most professional and measured of the three agencies I contacted and they have not disappointed. I was kept informed of progress without having to chase , first by Jackie and then by Parris, whose excellent photography of my property was impressive and I’m sure was in part responsible for securing an offer from the first people who viewed it. Parris is that all too rare agent who understands the need for good communication and informed advice at all times. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this team who should be held up as a model for all other agencies . A big thank you from a happy client!

From the moment I first phoned the office in Hastings I felt confident that my sale was in the right hands. I was fortunate to speak to an incredibly dynamic young man named Liam. How lucky I was. From start to finish he oversaw my sale with expert knowledge, confidence and understanding. With his help I was able to sell my home rapidly to exactly the right buyer and in turn able to buy my dream property. I seriously can't thank him enough. Mark the manager was brilliant too. I selected ‘Rush Witt & Wilson’ to market my house and have been extremely impressed ,from the very start, with their proactive and professional approach. The initial preparation for market was informed, thorough and prompt. The virtual tour and listing together with photographs produced is nothing less than excellent. Scott Rea ,in particular ,is very focused and has worked really hard he is a very good communicator and I have been kept informed every step of the way. Bad experience

Although the staff were polite and friendly, I had a very negative experience using this company when trying to purchase two grade 2 listed properties in northiam and bodiam. The owner of the northiam property would not confirm if the private drainage was compliant and we waited weeks and it cost us over £2000. The owner would not progress the sale when we offered an alternative way forward. I complained to the branch manager. He showed my complaint to other staff members but never replied to me. The property went straight back on the market even though the vendor would not sort out the drainage and the company completely disregarded my concerns. The next purchasers might fall into the same situation we did and the company do not want to take any responsibility regarding how this effects the buyers. The second property in bodiam was just coming on the market and was disclosed to us that a member of staff was related to the vendor. They assured as the sale could move quickly and if the drainage was not compliant the vendor would sort it out. We agreed to the full asking price and waited for the compliance to be confirmed. We waited another 2 weeks but still wasn't told if it was compliant and also if it was not we would need to pay towards it. The cottage is now back on the market at £20k more than the original price! What I experienced does not seem very professional. BEWARE of private drainage and false promises.

We had our house for sale last year with another agent in Rye. They proved to be useless and arrogant. Then we thought we would try RW&W. Ralph Popple came to value the house and was very reassuring and friendly. We felt very confident that the sale would be in good hands. As it turns out our sale must be the most protracted chain these poor guys have ever had. Barnaby was fantastic. He was calm, reassuring and proactive every step of the way.
