We have just exchanged contracts on the sale of our late father's house, and I can't thank the team at Lancasters enough for their support throughout the process. As we don't live on the Isle of Wight, selling the property remotely could have been difficult, but the team made everything as straightforward as possible. Their online portal was excellent, keeping us updated with viewings, feedback and progress throughout the sale. When the transaction became unexpectedly complex, Stella and Ben were outstanding. Their communication, persistence and professionalism kept everyone talking and helped get the sale over the line. We always felt they genuinely cared about achieving the best outcome for us. My dad and his wife were very happy in the house, and it's lovely to know it will now become a home for someone else. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lancasters to anyone buying or selling on the Isle of Wight.

We recently sold my mothers house through Lancasters and they were excellent from start to finish. The whole team were super helpful and made the selling process as simple as possible. Our experience with Lancasters has been nothing but positive. From day one they have been very pro-active and professional and nothing was too much trouble. The flat they sold for our family (my brother was the contact) had some issues and the sale took a lot longer than it should have, but the service we received was perfect from beginning to end. Because of the issues we feel some other agents may have lost interest. We can't praise them enough and recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again, if the need arises. We set the team quite a challenge, to sell two properties to be completed on the same day for an onward purchase! Nothing was too much trouble, I can't fault them and in particular Stella has been outstanding with her communication and reassurance at every stage. There were a number of times I needed to 'vent' due to hold ups outside everyone's control and she took it all in her stride with good humour. I would not hesitate to recommend them. They did exactly what they said they would and more besides.

Ben helped me so much while I was abroad and left in the lurch by my letting agent. I registered with Lancasters at the beginning of my property hunting journey when I decided to move over to the Isle of Wight in Sept 2020. Lexi Hollis became my main contact and, despite not actually ending up renting from them due to how dynamic the property market was at the time (and having to come over from the mainland for viewings), I have nothing but praise for my experience with the company and in particular Lexi. She has been transparent, knowledgeable, helpful and supportive throughout my property search process even though I never actually became a client. I would not hesitate to approach them in the future, whether for renting or purchasing. I like this company's ethos, transparency and willingness to go beyond the call of duty. They really care about people, even if not actual clients. They have that special touch. 10/10.

I had an agent round to view and value my house which they did, everything was fine until I mentioned being in contact with another estate agent a while back. I was told after the valuation I would be emailed with more details and feedback on the valuation, also giving me the option to email more details regarding my previous meeting with the former estate agent, yet I haven't heard anything back since. This was approximately two weeks ago. I find this very unprofessional. If Lancasters were unable to continue dealing with my property then I should of been told there and then, not given false promises.
