AVOID! From beginning to end an absolute disgraceful service. Following advice from these apparent professionals our house was advertised well below home report value - “to attract more viewers”. Great in theory. However, when said viewers are not given the home report prior to viewing (despite requesting it) this results in lots of viewers who can’t actually afford the property! A brilliant waste of my time. Adding to this viewings were not arranged properly and when viewers cancelled the lovely ladies at slater Hogg didn’t see fit to advise us of this. Another waste of time. There have been a whole catalogue of errors and when discussing these the staff seen fit to lie to cover their tracks. A great reflection on the professional displayed by this team. Slater Hogg are no longer selling our home and I advise anyone considering using them to reconsider.

I found the girls(Stephanie, Lisa and Lauren) to be extremely approachable and highly professional in all my dealings with them both as a seller and a buyer. I’m seeing some bad reviews here and couldn’t be more surprised. Slater Hogg Howison Burnside are by FAR the best real estate team I have had the pleasure to do business with. Helped me sell my flat in just under a week and netted me a tidy little profit in doing so. Now I’m looking to buy and when I phone it never rings out and I have never had to leave a message. When I request home reports I get them immediatley and I have never had to wait longer than a working week for a viewing but that has always been down to the demand for viewings on the house rather than their capability. Absolute joy to deal with and all are very approachable and engaging. Looking to buy at the moment and they always pass on the most relevant properties to me, others send on info for anything going and leave me to vet the most appropriate for me. Everyone else I feel as if I have to step in and manage them / keep on at them but the girls at Burnside are exceedingly proactive, capable and continually show initiative in trying to find the best property for me and my fiancé. Slater Hogg & Howison are a disgrace to Estate Agents. For my second home running I have had to deal with this Estate Agent due to the fact they are selling the property I am offering to purchase (Broomhill Drive, Burnside). The property was on the market for some months and had no offers. They messed me and my solicitor about for almost 2 weeks and after several offers I put my final offer in (a figure which they had asked for) and they got back to us to tell us they are now putting a close date (the very next day and 12 noon) as they now suddenly have another interested party. An absolute disgrace to Estate Agents. Avoid them if you can.
