I recently viewed a property with Sadie and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was my first house viewing and I was there on my own, so I was a little nervous going in, but Sadie immediately put me at ease. She was so warm and welcoming, took her time answering all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed or out of my depth. She made what could have been quite an overwhelming experience feel really comfortable and positive. Genuinely lovely person to deal with. Thank you, Sadie!

UNPROFESSIONAL ** UPDATE SOLD WITH NEW AGENT IN 10 DAYS ** Their sales pitch is perfect, unfortunately their service is not! Do not work for the vendor! Just want a quick, easy sale doing no work! We were told they had clients suitable for our house, they didn't! The only thing they do is ask you to lower the price, no work done on their side to encourage a sale. We had to ask for it to be put in the shop window & ask for better pictures. They are not flexible for viewings to suit the needs of viewer, dont work adter 5pm when most want to view, just expect you to do it. They didn't fully look into viewers positions before allowing a viewing to go ahead as requested. PLEASE READ THE SMALL PRINT, THEY TIE YOU IN FOR 6 MONTHS AND THEN YOU HAVE TO GIVE 28 DAYS NOTICE. Also we experienced them being unprofessional, thinking they had put the phone down they continued to talk about us, laughing that they had lied about getting feedback for us when they hadn't. NEVER AGAIN AND WE DONT RECOMMEND! UPDATE- THE MANAGER DID CALL TO APOLOGIE FOR THE RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE WE RECEIVED FOR OVER 6 MONTHS. WE MOVED TO A NEW AGENT AND HAD LOTS INTEREST, HAD VIEWINGS & SOLD IN 10 DAYS!

Ryder and Dutton are professional, thorough and responsive, using a large database and broad-scale marketing network to effectively promote the properties, generating good levels of qualified potential buyers quickly. Holly and the team were very efficient following up leads and interest with excellent co-ordination and prompt communication. The Ryder and Dutton 'Contract Ready' arrangement helped speed up the whole sale process and their co-ordination with approved solicitors reduced stress and delay to a minimum. Having used Ryder and Dutton a number of times over many years, with good outcomes, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

If I could give Ryder & Dutton zero stars, I would. My experience with them has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. They are unprofessional, careless, and only interested in taking your money, once they’ve got that, you’re completely on your own. When I first saw the house, it was advertised as “ready to move in.” Moving quickly was a priority for me, and I made that clear from the start. But after completing everything on my side, I was left waiting because the developer didn’t have their documents ready. Did Ryder & Dutton care? Not one bit. Instead, they asked me to pay a £2,000 deposit for carpets directly to the developer’s bank, this was never mentioned in any of the advertising. When I questioned it, the agent, Ammaarah, admitted this was her first new build and she “didn’t know what she was doing.” Seriously? The lack of professionalism didn’t end there. I was promised multiple times that a senior manager would call me back. Guess what? No one ever called. Their complaints procedure is non-existent, it’s just empty promises and complete radio silence. When I finally moved in, things only got worse. The house was advertised as having “full fibre” internet, but after moving in, I discovered it only has a copper connection. Another blatant lie. And do they care about resolving any issues after you’ve moved in? Of course not. It’s still a month since iv moved in and I’m still not able to purchase broadband! Trust me when I say they’re done with you once they’ve got their commission. Their carelessness caused me financial loss too. After they removed the “For Sale” sign, they left screws on the ground, which punctured my car tyre. It wasn’t just the cost of the repair, it was the inconvenience and wasted time dealing with something that should never have happened in the first place. To top it all off, their communication is atrocious. Even after my solicitor confirmed contracts were exchanged and everything was completed, Ryder & Dutton’s office claimed we hadn’t completed. How can a company this incompetent even be in business? Ryder & Dutton have caused me nothing but stress, frustration, and unnecessary expense. They don’t care about their customers, they don’t communicate, and they certainly don’t take responsibility for their mistakes. If you’re considering using them, don’t. The proof is in the pictures below. Run as far away as you can, you’ll thank me later.
