The initial valuation was much too high and despite my reservations I was convinced by the agent that this was correct. This meant the sale took much longer than needed and we had to reduce the asking price and then subsequently accept a much lower offer. Once the offer was accepted the Move Manager Catherine Salisbury was very helpful and reassuring, keeping me updated on progress and chasing solicitors.

I am really sorry that you were unhappy with the condition of the property, but we certainly were not ignoring the issues. As you know there have been numerous maintenance issues addressed throughout your tenancy including a replacement oven, replacement toilet, repair to the chimney and repainting of the attic.
Whilst the Landlord instructed the contractor to replace the kitchen cupboard doors the contractor has had issues sourcing a like for like replacement. I apologise that this job has taken longer than normal to address but this certainly isn’t the normal service we provide.

GoogleRyder & Dutton handled the sale of my property, and although the process became lengthy due to factors outside of their control and beyond their area of responsibility, they remained professional throughout.
The situation was frustrating and at times extremely stressful, but I would like to make a special mention of Elizabeth Powell. Her communication was excellent, and her empathy and understanding of my situation genuinely helped to alleviate a lot of the stress. Even when Elizabeth was on leave, it was clear that she had handed my case over thoroughly and professionally to her colleagues, ensuring continuity and confidence in the service.
I genuinely believe Elizabeth went above and beyond in supporting me, and because of her efforts I would not hesitate to recommend Ryder & Dutton to family members and close friends.
While it was a difficult process overall, I felt fully supported and well-informed throughout, which made a significant difference.
