Hunters were a fantastic estate agent to sell my house with. Alex was very quick to value my property, arrange for the photographer to do his images which looked very professional and get it on the market which resulted in a very quick sale. Nicole was brilliant throughout the entire process, keeping me up to date with where the sale and purchase were up to. She constantly chased solicitors on our behalf and made sure everything ran smoothly for both parties in the chain. I Cannot recommend Hunters enough for buying or selling a property. Thanks all for your help & support through a stressful time in anyone's life.

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

I have only great things to say about Hunters Middleton branch! From the very first phone call right up to exchanging contacts They have been amazing. I was really pleased with the pictures and write up and sold within 5 days ans was over the moon with the price. Nicole Coombes is the shining star for me. We have both rented and bought our new property from Hunters Middleton branch. I first rented off Hunters and Joanne was such a massive help all through the process, was clear in her communication and always willing to help us from the start to the end of our tenancy. We then went to buy a property which was shown to us from Paul, who provided insight into the previous owners and new the area well so we felt as though we were getting lots of information we wouldn’t have got otherwise. Nicole then took over in the buying process and she was clear in communication with regular updates and was there from start to finish with excellence. I cannot recommend Hunters Middleton for when you’re buying or renting!

Absolutely fantastic service from top to bottom. I have had experiences in the past with estate agents that had led me to believe that they were pointless. A profession that was slowly being eaten up by online versions. Hunters completely changed my mind on this. Everyone we came into contact with did their job efficiently and well. Paul, Joanne and Nicole were fantastic. Nicole made it a point to frequently keep us in the loop, ensuring we received updates at least once a week without fail. Hunters were fantastic. As a first time buyer it can be very daunting and confusing. From my first viewing with Hunters it was simple and easy and Paul was great. He answered all questions honestly and put my mind at ease. After putting my offer in I was then put in contact with Nicole. From start to finish she was excellent, any questions I had she answered straight away. She stayed in regular contact with myself and the sellers to ensure a smooth process. However I did not expect every word he said to be true! Nicole was just fantastic to deal with! nothing was ever to much trouble and she helped us every step of the way. Awful customer service

I remain deeply disappointed in the way my most recent complaint has been handled at their Newcastle branch. The way the branch manager speaks to tenants is appalling! If you have a complaint then don’t expect any sympathy or accountability. We have rented this property for 11 years and in that time, we have been superb tenants but sadly that doesn’t mean anything to them. I anticipate a reply to this which will more than likely attempt to completely contradict what I’ve written here but just know that our experience has not been a positive one!

1 bed property Sparks Close, Dagenham, RM8 - Landlord and hunters agent where complicit in illegal procedures regarding discrimination. We went through all the paper work and wasted 2 weeks till they call me and tell me the Landlord dont want a baby in the property. Don't trust them slow untrust worthy. And definitely dont rent the sparks close 1 bed property, Landlord seems like a handful save your self

From the offset Hunters and the owner Paul were professional/friendly and a pleasure to use. At every stage I was informed of that was happening (which was more than my Conveyancing solicitor did). Nicole has been so incredibly helpful throughout the entirety of the process. She explained things clearly, ensuring I understood each step, and was always on the ball obtaining updates from further up the chain for me. If I could give more stars than 5, I would! The service at Hunters was consistently amazing. Nicky was so conscientious with the sale of our house - I felt so comfortable leaving it in her hands, her photos and 3d walkthrough were top notch, and we just loved her generally. Nicole, the sales negotiator, gave such amazing service and kept us in the loop constantly. We had endless problems with our buyer but Nicole dealt with them all for us and left us stress free. If it wasn't for her, we would've been pulling our hair out. Absolutely 100% recommended Hunters - I have no doubt whatsoever that any other estate agent could not have offered service as outstanding as Hunters did!

Hunters is an absolutely fantastic estate agents after having used other estate agents when viewing other properties in the past I really noticed a difference when viewing our now home the first time with hunters the viewing was really informative but relaxed and the attention to detail with the brochure of the house etc was a great touch. Throughout the whole process Nicole was outstanding she was always chasing both parties solicitors to make for a smooth sale and was always available for questions such a friendly and professional service from her and the little gift when we collected keys was again another little touch. Thank you for everything and I’ll be sure to use hunters if I ever decide to sell as the whole experience with them has been brilliant.

My experience selling a property in the…

My experience selling a property in the UK with this agent was extremely frustrating. For over four months, they delayed the transaction. Despite my constant follow-ups, they kept giving me excuse after excuse, like mortgage problems or minor issues, saying it would happen next week. Eventually, I told them I would pull out and sell to another buyer, but Matthew insisted I still had to pay. I also want to warn people about this company, be very cautious, because in the contract, they include terms that are unfavorable to the client. Once you sign, they do very little to follow up, and you can’t even be sure if the buyer will complete the deal. Their main priority is just getting you to sign, and regardless of whether the sale happens, they still take your money. And when I tried to back out, Matthew actually threatened me, saying that if I didn’t pay, they would escalate it to other departments. I feel this is a form of intimidation.”
