My dad rented an apartment using Cowell and Norford Milnrow office . They were excellent especially Karly Borg , she was brilliant nothing was too much trouble . GoogleI approached Craig Duffy at Cowell&Norford about the possibility of selling my property and straight away I knew that I was in safe hands.The property had been rented out and where I live the person next door had sold their property through Cowell&Norford and raved about the service from Dominique. From start to finish the service was fantastic Craig and DominicWere fantastic and kept in touch virtually every day IPut the property on the market and sold it to the first people who viewed. The whole transaction took less than five weeks and I am delighted with the service from Cowell&Norford particularly Craig and Dominique And also Christina. GoogleAbsolutely first class service from start to finish. All the team are really enthusiastic about their role in selling your house. Extremely friendly staff and very approachable. Craig did all of our house viewings , he knew our house just as well as we did and could answer any questions about it , he was always early to set the house up ie lights on etc for the viewings , again could not fault any part of the viewing stages he was brilliant . Dominique kept us up to date with all feedback .After the sale had gone through we were updated on a regular basis of how things were progressing, she was always chasing up solicitors and even having to chase the other estate agents who were not even consulting with their customers keeping them updated which I thought was way more than she needed to do . Selling a house is a stressful time but Dominique made it so much easier for us she was amazing , again it was quire clear to see how enthusiastic and dedicated she is in her role and had a lot of pride in what she does . All I can say if you want a friendly dedicated team to sell your home I would always recommend Cowell and Norford

GoogleI highly recommend Cowell and Norford to any perspective buyer. From the precise description and pictures of the property all the way to aftercare following the viewing it has been a positive experience. Dominique in the office dealt with all admin and pre viewing questions professionally and promptly whilst Michelle was very knowledgable and welcoming at the viewing. Unfortunately the house wasn’t right for me due to personal reasons but Michelle and Dominique were very understanding and continued to help me find another suitable property. Thank you very much to everyone at Cowell and Norford for your time and professionalism.

GoogleCowell and Norford were our first choice when moving and I think me and my wife made a very wise decision. Not only were they extremely proactive at lining up potential viewers before our property even hit the market, Craig was excellent at finding us properties which matched our criteria to view and even supported booking these viewings in with other agents (something that wasn’t always an easy task). Me and my wife would defiantly use them again.

GoogleI’ve looked at a few properties with Hayley and one time it took 2 whole minutes to view a house then immediately walked to her car and drove off. She doesn’t seem to care, she is rude. I called to view certain properties and was told that they were not taking anymore viewings and that they had offers but then months later the properties were still on. It seems they only want to sell to certain people. Hayley does not make you feel welcome. If anything, she makes you feel uncomfortable. Like you have to rush around looking at a house. They then get annoyed if i end up saying that I’m not interested. They don’t seem to realise that buying a house is a big decision. The only thing they care about is selling a house. They couldn’t care less about you.

GoogleFrom the initial valuation to completion the service provided by Cowell & Norford especially Dominique has been truly exceptional. We had 3 valuations @the start, 2 agents gave us lower valuations than the £240k we were told could be achieved by Cowell and Norford. Our property was sold within 5 days and we achieved the full asking price. We received weekly comms from Dominique & the team om the progression of the sale.

GoogleI sold my house a year ago but have just watched a panorama episode on Purple Bricks and Connells(Nationwide agency) and thought I'd leave a positive view for Cowells. The underhand tactics the above mentioned use to make more commission through conveyancing,hidden fees and overvaluing with no care for the customer is awful. Cowell &Norford do things right. They have accurate valuations and no pressure on buying a mortgage through them or preferring other buyers over others. They are professional and transparent. I would recommend to anyone selling.

GoogleWhat a professional company Cowell and Norford are. From start to finish they helped my son buy his first property and made the whole process stress free and straightforward. Dominque was excellent and her constant updates helped to ensure that the purchase went smoothly and quickly meaning he was able to complete in less than 5 weeks!!! Don't always believe bad reviews. My advice is give them a try, we have been more than happy and would highly recommend and would certainly use them again.

GoogleWe have just bought our first home with Cowel and Norford and we couldn’t be happier with our new house as the process in getting the house went pretty well. The employees were all very helpful especially Dominique who helped us a lot along the way. We cannot fault her she has been so lovely, helpful, friendly and understanding throughout and whenever we had any questions she would find answers and communicate with us straight away. I was also pregnant during the process of getting our first home and as you can imagine being pregnant and also having a toddler was not easy to say the least but Dominique made us feel like she really cared for us and genuinely wanted to help get us all sorted in our new home in time for the arrival of our new addition to the family. She made the process so much smoother for us and took away so much stress as she really reassured us and gave fantastic advice throughout. All of the staff that we came into contact with were all really lovely and we are so pleased we bought a house via this agency. There were a few issues as it took a while to get in but this was due to the seller as they too had to find a property to buy, Dominique dealt with this as best she could and really helped in getting any issues resolved and make everything as smooth as possible. Another lovely agent was Danielle who assisted every now and then too so even when Dominique wasn’t in the office either Danielle or other employees would really help in answering any questions we had. We did also decide to use a mortgage advisor via the agency and Stephen was fantastic we cannot fault him and he worked so hard in getting everything sorted for us. If you are looking at houses with this agency I would say they know how to look after you and are very professional yet caring to their customers too so you will be pleased! Thanks to everyone at Cowel and Norford and a special thanks to Dominique for everything we could not thank you enough!

I would highly recommend Cowell & Norford to sell your property as the team shown genuine interest and enthusiasm to sell my property at a price I was happy with. They are not pushy and keep you involved in the whole process from start to finish. I was very happy with the amount of people who had shown interest in my property through Cowell & Norford and they were really professional throughout. I can’t praise them enough they were able to get my property sold (STC) within two weeks and the sale of my property was completed with four weeks. GoogleWe listed our house and within a couple of days we had received an offer for way above what we were quoted by another agency. We had fairly difficult communication issue with our buyers but Ben was brilliant from start to finish and always kept me in the loop and pushed through the sale right towards the end. They also recommended a great solicitors & mortgage advisor who were also very good. Worth the money! Cheers Ben & team

Buying a property with them, lied about survey results when I asked them before I made a offer on the house as other buyer let it go few months ago but by luck they turned out to be friends and told us the whole land was contaminated. Upon confrontation they presented the previous surveys. They applied pressure to use only their solicitors, were very rude. Passed information on to third party surveyors, other professionals without our consent, we had calls coming in none stop. Please avoid using them at all costs!

Used these in the past. We accepted a low offer (under their advice) with the caveat that it was kept on the market to see if there would be a better offer in the meantime. Then all went quiet from perspective buyers. So we rang them posing as cash buyers to enquire about our own home and they told us the sellers aren’t accepting any more viewings and it’s a done deal. They just wanted the fee so lied about the situation. We confronted them and they offered 10% off the fees. AVOID AVOID AVOID, we lost god knows how much because of their dishonesty.
