Having taken all my details (enough to clone me) I was told a member of staff was on holiday and I would have to take another hour giving my information again. Then that person left I was passed onto a third member. All 3 of them left the company, my concern is that clearly they could take my information. How in the modern world is this possible? Then to be told by the third person they charged for this service. Incredible.

Someone came over to value our house approx two weeks ago. He told us that he'd get back to us with the full report via email asap. My dad has called them several times to ask where this report is, and he's been fobbed off with excuses every time he's called as to why the guy can't come to the phone. Awful company to deal with. Won't be using them again!!!!

DO NOT USE FOR LETTINGS!!!Absolutely rubbish constant changing of staff. No checks done properly, just constant lies about everything. No support whatsoever I was constantly having to chase them, never answered there phone for the two years the fully managed my property which was always left in a state because checks were not done. I still have letters from utility bills coming to me from last year because the agent didn't bother to pass them on. This was fully managed! Could do a better job on my own especially when all they were interested in was raising the fee I paid. Good riddance to them so glad I'm with a better agent.

Ignore the negative reviews, not a clue who they were dealing with! I found Stephen and his team to be polite and very helpful. They kept in constant contact and were happy to answer any questions I had.I'd happily use them again next time I move.

Avoid the Tamworth branch if you are thinking of selling your house!They tie you in to a six month contract, they then don’t have any motivation to sell your house. They will not release you from the contract early and the only way to stop the company selling your house is to send them a two week notice to take your house off the market! Then have to wait till your six months is up to try sell your house with some one else… Thanks for nothing Burchell Edward’s

Ripley Rental Department are beyond pathetic...I have been considering what word to use for the last hour and "pathetic" only scratches the surface...but anything else would be blocked and moderated here.I use Burchell Edwards in Ripley to manage my rental properly...the term "manage" is something that they appear not to understand. Needless to say they will be reported to the ombudsman as the services is negligent.In 12 months, here is a small sample of the issues we have had to deal with:1. They have reserved a float on the account stating that they were waiting on invoices form the electrical safety inspection. We paid these upfront...so no float was needed...and 12 months down the line.2. They have repeatedly ignored requests to clarify billing as I'm sure they are overcharging; I'm still waiting for that clarification3. They failed to inform me that the tenant was leaving, and therefore failed to book in a move out inspection4. They lied...i know to accuse someone of lying is strong, but they claimed to have conducted an inspection in November. Which they latter admitted they did not...they even sent the inspection report …the tenant confirmed no inspection as booked or completed with them.5. They never re planned the inspection they lied about...so the property was not inspected for 12 months although we pay for this service6. They refuse to talk to you on the phone...every phone call is met with "send me a mail" to which they never respond7. They lied to the tenant when moving it...we made it clear that they property would remain for sale and that the tenant would need to be informed. Not only did they lie to me by stating the tenant was interested in "potentially buying"...they were not...they also failed to inform the tenant who has been inconvenienced by repeated sales viewingsDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...I REPEAT...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Biggest nightmare of a company ! Don’t know where to start! Everything from the lettings to the selling side are horrific ! Would never advise any landlord to let with this company and definitely not get them managed by them ! Never check the property , never chase any arrears ! Make sure you check references of tenants as they actually said they got rid of my terrible tenants by saying they were perfect tenants ! ‘L’ word comes into mind of what they are ! I could write a book on issues I had with them ! Never again ! I d really rate them a 0!

Worse Agency I have EVER DEALT WITH! Do not go anywhere near them! It would take me 4 months to list the errors, the unprofessional RUDE staff! It took them 4 weeks to ring us back and Evan then it was an automatic response! Their errors have cost us £2500! Honestly they are disgraceful disrespectful money hungry sub human! They don’t care about humans just the bottom line!! Vile!!!
