As a first time buyer we have had a couple of minor snags that Hill has been excellent about sorting out. Sarah Heather- the customer service coordinator in particular has been extremely helpful and responsive to my emails. She has always followed up after the works have taken place to make sure we are happy and everything is okay and kept up informed of any delays or upcoming appointments. Really grateful for the excellent service.

I recently purchased a hill property in January 2024 and I have since had a sewage smell coming from my bathroom (since I’ve moved in) the smell is worse when the weather is bad outside and circulates the entire flat at times. I have reported this so many times and it’s now March and nothing has been done. I have reported this via the housing ombudsman and made formal complaints with the housing association. One plumber came out a few days ago (finally) and stated it was too big of a job for him to do alone. Confirmed there was a draft through the flusher and that there is a smell coming from behind the unit which he couldn’t access. He then left and I heard nothing back. This company needs closing down, they are cowboy builders and if I knew what I knew now I’d have never purchased this property

Andy Delaforce and Phil Way Finish have a just finished repairing a leak. The project has been going on for a few months, but finally finished. Every time they came to work on my home, they did so much respect for my house, and pride in the work they were doing. Always finished the work to the highest quality and cleaned up after the work was completed. I'm really pleased with the work, and the Customer Service Hill has offered through out.

I had an appointment with Alan Deadman who waited for me as I was running late after dropping my children off to school. He was kind, chatty and made me feel at ease, which is important to me as I have anxiety around people being in my home. He took the time to explain what he was doing, and showed me the parts that he was changing in my door handles. He finished the work quickly, but it didn't feel that he was rushing the work.

We had Phil & Andy round to do some making good of our walls after we had a different firm in for a planned repair. Both very friendly and professional and were also extremely tidy, wouldn’t have even able to tell they were here! The walls they’ve worked on are spot on and again the areas around the work were clean. They arrived on time as scheduled and were fully prepared to get the job done.
