Service Review

Dexter has been managing my property for several years and I always received rent within reasonable time. However, I encountered a problem with this recently where the property manager insisted that the rent has been paid to me although the statement was not sent. I pointed out that no fund reached my bank account on several occasions. She failed to understand that the statement went hand in hand with rent payment, This went on for a few days. Eventually I called Property Management team and spoke to Gabija Pabalyte. She knew the problem immediately and was able to resolve the non-payment issue with the Account Payable team immediately. I received the remittance the next working day. Full mark to Gabija Pabalyte.

A horrible experience

A horrible experience. Dexters arranged a viewing for us at the property when the previous tenant’s furniture was still in the flat. There was serious damp damage on the wall linings behind that furniture. They did not disclose this even though they were aware of a serious leak in the building and then failed to acknowledge their gross marketing practice. We made an offer. On the first day of our tenancy we discovered the damp on the walls, faulty electrics, faulty heating units and mold on the window blinds. Beware of trusting them

Lauren and Jasmine have been amazing during the process of finding a property to rent. Me and my partner were quite stressed when finding a property we loved in our price range but they really helped. Jasmine has been amazing at showing us around flats and she is such a pleasure to talk to, she makes us feel really comfortable and is really attentive and great at explaining a property. Lauren has been super efficient and helpful when I have queries about going through the process of putting in offers and going through references etc. She always replies quickly and I feel great knowing she is only a phone call away. They have been amazing whilst we are attempting to navigate the property search after only living in student flats!

I would highly recommend Dexter's St Margarets. Stevie and her team are so professional. They have a database of people and are continuously working to get viewings to try to sell your property. I had more success with Dexters within one week, than I had with another agent in 3 months. Whenever you call the office they know who's calling, and regardless of who answers the phone, everyone treats you like your No. 1. I wish I knew someone selling as I would recommend they use Dexters St Margarets. Great team.

Great customer service!

I moved into my new property on the 20th December 2022, just before Christmas which is a hectic time for everybody! However, with the assistance of Dexters (especially Bill) they have made my move very smooth and hassle free. Bill has been nothing but helpful, proactive and attentive. He has gone above and beyond to answer all of my questions and always gets back to me when he says he will (a lot of people don’t!). So happy with the process of selling my property through Dexters St Margarets office. Stevie-Leigh and her team managed the process, kept me informed and did an excellent job finding the right buyer and ensuring the sale went through extremely quickly. The advice I received was good advice. Was not too happy with the firm of solicitors recommended. Definitely not happy with the letting management side of the business when I saw the state of the property after letting it out for 6 years through Dexters and am still waiting for a response from them to the questions raised when the tenants moved out and have still not received the termination report that should have been sent to me.

Lots of issues when moving in, helpful getting these sorted

I recently moved into a property let by and managed by Dexters. One of the reasons I chose Dexters was because I thought I would be less likely to have issues with it being a larger company. However when I moved in there were a wide range of issues including mould, furniture that was supposed to be removed, broken appliances and blocked drains. Basic checks before I moved in would have identified these issues.
