Toby was really helpful with supporting us through the early part of our purchase of our property. He was incredibly informative, kept us up to date with any changes/information and was always available when we needed help. Alistair supported us towards the end of the process. Alistair has been brilliant!! He has responded to every query quickly, ensured everyone knows exactly what is happening and has been really supportive when there was a slight delay towards the end - he has made the process a lot less stressful!

We like to mention how disappointed was the experience with Dexter, this is the first time in years of tenancy that we have experienced such a lack of professionalism and transparency from an estate agency.On Friday 9th we expressed our interest in a flat, we waited 3 days to have confirmation that the offer was accepted from the landlord, THREE, we finally received a confirmation from the estate agent after three days saying that the offer was accepted so we paid the holding deposit in order to BLOCK THE FLAT, paying the holding deposit means:"Once you have paid the holding deposit, the tenancy is assumed to be agreed subject to referencing. The landlord should not proceed with other tenants, and must not accept any other holding deposits or offers"We then received a call few hours later the holding deposit was taken where the agent said over the phone: the landlord received another offer from another agency, WOULD YOU LIKE TO OFFER MORE?In my opinion the offer from the other agency should have not going through at all, second of all, if the landlord has accepted another offer, why did they even propose me to offer more? which game do they play?No serious at all, very disappoint.I strongly reccomend to avoid this agency.

I didn’t want to mention this situation again, but we are having trouble understanding what he is doing. He’s in a senior position at Dexters. There’s no valid reason to withhold our deposit due to trivial reasons. We are confident in retrieving our deposit through TDS, so we’ve asked Dexters Management to handle it. However, he hasn’t completed the application, citing technical issues with TDS. We contacted TDS and kept a record; they informed us that Dexters hasn’t finished the entire application form and then has been deleted it. We’ve faced numerous issues and delays since November 8th and still haven’t received any updates unless we reach out to him. Could you please ask the Dexters Management team at Queens Gardens to finish the application as soon as possible and provide us with a case number? I want to share the case on my public website, but it hasn’t been updated yet, and I’m getting really frustrated with this unprofessional and poor management. Please provide us with just the number of the case that he can hand over, and we can move on from this horrible nightmare situation. Don’t ask me to email the Dexters customer service team because it hasn’t helped anything, and I want the Dexters customer team to contact him and let him get back to us with just the case number so he can be free. I don’t understand why this is being so silly and unfair to our weak position now. He shouldn’t be able to handle it this way. Again, it’s super clear. We need to get back our deposit, and we have confidence in TDS. So please finish the application process and don’t say it’s getting finished within a timeline. It’s the most unfair situation I’ve ever encountered in my life! Please, Dexters. Cheers

As a Landlord whose property Dexters has managed for many years, I am on the whole satisfied. The sales side of Dexters is 5 star plus, in my point of view. Zahra, who I deal with, is early on the case at the end of each tenancy and works flat out to find the best tenant for me. She gives very good advice but also listens to my requirements as a client. What lets Dexters down a little, for me, is its property management team. They operate a sort of pool system, which gives me the feeling that no one is taking personal responsibility. Often when I call the office I find I directed to someone new who I have not spoken to before. Quite often important pieces of information have been left off my file by the previous colleague. In addition, some of the staff seem inexperienced in the maintenance issues which they are handling. It would be good if I was kept updated on who my personal contact was at any point in time.
