Proactive communication and empathy

Proactive communication, empathy and transparency are three core values I have seen demonstrated at Dexters. I have rented a home through them for nearly two years, and they have stood out as property managers that actually care. Most recently, Daragh Power has impressed me with their kindness and genuine care. I had two requests of the landlord, one that would require a change to my contact, and Daragh was AMAZING at listening to my needs, understanding the time sensitivity and following up with the landlord when we didn’t receive a response right away. They could have deprioritised my concerns or have gotten upset with my persistence but instead they understood where I was coming from and really advocated for me. This is exactly what one would want from a property manager, but is something I find is rare, especially in a ‘landlord market.’ Daragh communicated professionally throughout and made the entire process stress free. I wouldn’t choose another property manager besides Dexters.

I would like to say a huge Thank you to Ashleigh Hall for assisting me in finding my dream home. No request was ever to much and she was always available to help me with anything I needed. This is my first time moving so I had a lot of questions and I never once felt as if it was a bother for her to make sure I understood certain processes. She really is a credit to the team. My experience with Ashleigh alone would make me come back to dexters if I ever wanted to move in the future. If I had to give constructive criticism I would say that I was specifically looking for bungalow but in the email lists I would be sent houses every day which is abit useless to me. BUT again, I have to give praise to Ashleigh because she took the time out her day as she noticed I hadn’t been requesting to view any, and she sorted it on that same phone call. We had a fantastic experience with Charlotte and her team when looking to rent our house in Hampton. From our first meeting, Charlotte was very positive, professional and friendly. Charlotte had great knowledge on products and recommended best package that suits us.. Must admit I was a bit nervous as this process is new for us and had time limitations as we had to move into new house with assurance of having tenants that way we avoid paying 2 mortgages. Despite being school holidays time and we being away on holiday, Charlotte and her team worked tirelessly to find good tenets and they actually found with in couple of week, also they kept us well informed on the situation and verifications. This review is in particular for Dexter's Lee.If you think all Estate Agents in Lee are the same,then Dexter's Lee is definitely different. very different,in fact they could contend for the worst estate agency in England. I would highly recommend to anyone buying or selling through Dexter's Lee to contact me. The team, and in particular the sales team are money oriented. They will provide all sorts of distorted facts to make you list their property through them and whilst buying ,all sorts of lies without any moral conscience will be told. Their costs are higher than other than other estate agents who provide a far more personal service. This agency strives on the Dexter's brand but having dealt with Dexter's in other parts,I can easily vouch that they are the worst and most unprofessional. Please do your research before listing your property,buying and even thinking of renting out through them. They will completely ignore any of your requests or their duties as long as they can make their commission. As stated I am ready to help and discuss in more detail on why to avoid this agency

Absolutely abysmal service from the Hampton team. Firstly, I phoned 5 minutes past my viewing to gauge where the agent was as he was not on location. I was greeted by a lady who told me that I have to wait until 10 past before ringing to find out where the agent is. I then proceeded to wait an additional 10 minutes as requested before phoning again. This time I was told that the viewing was cancelled at 9am this morning. No thought to call or contact me or my partner to let us know. Instead I have wasted my time and money after a long work day for nothing. Big thanks to Ben for nothing. Dexter’s are lucky 1 star is the lowest rating I could give. Fix up!

Dexters Hampton - Shocking Service for 7 yrs

Dexters Hampton has been the agent for our lease of a large 5 bedroom home in Hampton for the last 7 years. Apart from a few months when Kim S was responsible, the “service” has been shocking for the entire period - 7 frustrating years. It was so bad, that in desperation we ended up engaging the landlords directly and sourcing service providers ourselves. We terminated the rental on 31 July and have still not received our deposit despite the legal 14 day requirement. As usual, zero communication unless we follow up and chase the staff.

Daniel's customer service is great

Before Daniel F joined the team I struggled a bit with Dexters (hence the 3 stars). Often things would not be done, people wouldn't log when there had been a visit to my flat so more would be booked in and there were lack of updates at times which felt frustrating. However after dealing with Daniel F it feels like things are changing for the better and if I had always dealt with Daniel I would prob give Dexters a 5 star rating. Great customer service, always keeps me informed and gets things moving which I really appreciate!
