We had the most atrocious experience with Cubitt & West Reigate! We made the mistake of buying our property through them, and it was an excruciatingly painful ordeal. Let me start by saying that Julian Bromwich, the so-called "senior branch partner," is utterly clueless about the properties he represents. We had to endure 4 or 5 viewings before they bothered to show us an attic space. And during one of the visits, we discovered that one of the drawers underneath the hob was jammed shut. When we brought it up with Julian Bromwich, he had the audacity to tell us it couldn't be fixed. It took three letters and countless follow-ups for him to finally forward the issue to the sellers, who turned out to be a development company. Only then they fixed it.But the incompetence doesn't end there. They set a completion date, but on the very day, after I called around noon, they had the nerve to inform me that we weren't completing today. This was after our current property had already been sold earlier that day. And to top it all off, Julian Bromwich advised our seller/developer not to let us into the vacant property, claiming we hadn't bought it yet, even though our deposit money was already with our solicitors and we were ready to sign an agreement. As a result, my wife, our 18 month old child and I were left homeless for a 11 days!And the insult to injury was when we finally exchanged and picked up our keys, they "gifted" us a pitiful box with hand sanitiser, Kleenex tissues, and a zero alcohol Peroni. What a joke! This was supposed to be a celebration of purchasing a property worth over £500K, but all they could muster was this shoddy excuse for a gift. When we bought our previous property through shared ownership, they gifted us a bottle of fine wine, but apparently that's asking too much for Cubitt & West Reigate.So, if you're looking to be treated like dirt, with estate agents who have zero knowledge about the property they're selling and are always in a rush, giving you a measly 15 minutes window to view your potential future home after driving for 1.5 hours, then Cubitt & West is the estate agency for you. But if you have any sense, steer clear of these incompetent, unprofessional, and inconsiderate bunch. They have absolutely no respect for the buyers and their so-called "service" is a complete joke. Consider yourself warned!

Southsea cradle to grave support. The Southsea branch helped me buy my house and years later sell it. Both times, the other half were slow and difficult but the team supported, advised and worked in my favour. Their advice is always well considered and they do not over promise and undersell. If I ever returned to Southsea, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them.

TrustpilotA Scammer to Avoid!! Violation of Confidentiality!
I sent an inquiry of the lease length of a property in Littlehampton. This agent kept sending me text messages (asking me to call them back) without my permission. They gathered unnecessary personal information including my residential address, email address, telephone number, and even date of birth. I did not feel right by the sound of the person on the phone. I refused to give my date of birth. The agent then said 'then I am not able to help you'. They refused to tell me the length of the lease of the property which is just the basic information when I declined to reveal further of my personal information. The whole conversation caused a lot of discomfort and distress. They are nothing more than a scammer! It is a violation of confidentiality when gathering excessive information from any customer! Be careful!! Avoid this scammer!!!

Before renting a property, they are helpful and supportive and during your tendency, they provide a portal for reporting any issue regarding the property which is great. but it ends here! they usually fix your issue in 48 hours and at the end of the tendency, after chasing and begging for returning your deposit, they will charge you at least about 200£, no matter the condition!If something goes wrong, you should remember you are always wrong, the landlord is always right and then Cubitt & West! this is their motto somehow!I had a terrible experience with Cubitt & West and strongly suggest never using their service unless you are happy to be charged for everything and beg for your deposit otherwise they won't return it back!
