I recently had the pleasure of being shown around our dream family home by Harrison who was professional, knowledgeable and followed up promptly. Following this viewing I had direct communication with Jack (Branch Manager) who took time out of his schedule to value my property and move to listing very quickly. Jack has been exceptional in all areas and responsive to messages even outside of working hours. It's clear that his approach cascades down to the team at Connels. I can’t thank jack & his team (Abby & Harrison) at Rayleigh branch for coming in & taking over the process of selling our house, they have all been very prompt with all correspondence whether it be arranging viewings, following up appointments or issuing offer letters. Fairly disgusted with our treatment by Rayleigh Connells. We mainly had Oliver dealing with our sale and lost two buyers due to lies he told our buyers. One being we may complete prior to the stamp duty changed in April, despite knowing we were buying a new build due to complete on 29th August. I only discovered the lies when I reached out and found my prospective buyers on a social media platform and engaged with them myself. The company has concluded their own complaints procedure and apparently it’s all above board. I wasn’t at all surprised when I saw this firm on Panorama unfortunately. Disgraceful.

Andrew from the letting team has been unbearable to work with. It’s been impossible to get in contact with him and when I finally track him down he is rude and not accommodating. I’m a young woman and find him quite condescending, and had to tell him multiple times that I can comprehend what he’s saying without repeating himself over and over. As a homeowner I would never use him to lease my property.

If you can, ask to work with Bernice! She was my absolute rock throughout the entire process when it came to finding my tenants. Following previous experiences with other estate agents that proved to be disappointing, Bernice was truly a breath of fresh air. I not only felt like I had a true professional in my corner at every stage, but also a friend. She made what can be a very stressful time/process, seamless and stress-free. Bernice was kind, genuine, honest, super responsive, attentive to details, chased down any outstanding issues and had no agenda other than making sure I was happy. Very poor customer service, wasted time going to a viewing for our highest offer to be rejected despite informing Mariana of our max price several times. Feel this wasnt relayed back to the seller from the start otherwise they would have never welcomed the viewing if our max offer was way below what they was looking for. Just an attempt to get us through the door for a viewing on a property that’s not sold at it’s asking for a few months. Was then advised I would be kept in the loop of our offer that we left on the table and that the manager Oliver would phone us back, still waiting for this call to this day…
