Very pleased with the team at Miles and Barr for recently selling my property. I initially chose them thanks to the warm and professional approach of Maddy at the front of house. Shea then provided a well-researched valuation and responded quickly to all of my questions. Kayleigh expertly negotiated an offer and timescale that worked perfectly for everyone in our chain. Finally, Emily handled the sales progression with empathy and complete regularity; her weekly updates provided a level of reassurance I haven't experienced with other agents. I am so glad I went with Miles and Barr and would highly recommend them if you are thinking of selling your home.

GoogleI had a pleasure as a buyer to work with Elenas Betevas, one of sales negotiator. It was nothing short but a pleasure working with him. He had listened to what i needed and wanted, and using that knowledge picked best properties for me to view instead of attempting to shift deadstock. Everything was done very quickly and professionally. While he did his best to sell properties i never felt "pressured" and everything including chasing details i had asked for was chased almost immediately. If you are looking to work with this estate agency, ask for Elenas you wont be disappointed. His clearly driven and has work ethic you wish every estate agent you meet had.

Miles and Barr have been great - it had been a while since I'd rented but everything was explained really well and it was a quick, smooth process. While living in the flat, my property manager Abigail Burch has been such a brilliant help - actioning any issues immediately and always so responsive. She's friendly, helpful and proactive - it's been a real pleasure to work with her. I'm moving out soon but I would definitely rent again through Miles and Barr.

GoogleAnnie was absolutely incredible in helping me purchase my first house. I really appreciate you being by my side throughout on this first time buying (solo) experience. Meghan was great in (very) quickly securing the deal and Annie then picked up and was always on call and always a step ahead which was so refreshing and it meant I wasn’t battling solicitors etc alone. I highly recommend M&B and also rented before this purchase for 3.5years and I cannot fault them.

I know the guy was only doing his job, but I dislike the system of aggressive sales technique to get buyers to use a solicitor you recommend, so you can make some commission. To be fair, the guy wasn't unpleasant, but was persistent, and I felt bamboozled into agreeing, despite my concerns which I aired at the time, including conflict of interest,due to sellers using same company. Unfortunately a quote i was given verbally was inaccurate, but as you wanted my money immediately, your now having to sort out what I hope is a full refund, so we can use our preferred and cheaper solicitors. To be honest, this has left an unpleasant taste in my mouth, im now apprehensive about having to deal with miles and barr for the sale, and won't be selling with this company when we sell our house next year. Its just too pushy, and not all estate agents do this, one we used in Sandwich certainly wasn't. . So my advice, be prepared for battle if you want to use your own solicitor! Your guy who showed us the flat twice was lovely though.

Having reviewed the matter, I understand there was initially some confusion regarding the conveyancing quotation provided through Mover Essentials. Once this was identified, the correct revised quotation was provided to you before any payment was made. Whilst I appreciate this may have caused frustration and concern, I can confirm that you chose to move forward only after receiving the revised quotation and having the opportunity to consider your options. I understand that you have chosen to instruct an alternative solicitor. Following your decision, the fees paid through Mover Essentials were refunded, enabling you to proceed with your preferred conveyancing firm. Mover Essentials is designed to introduce clients to a panel of trusted conveyancing firms and provide information to help them make an informed choice. However, the decision regarding which solicitor to instruct always remains entirely with the client, and we never want anyone to feel pressured during that process. GoogleHoward did a great job helping us sell our property. It was great to have one point of contact throughout the process and Howard was always readily available. We sold our house quickly at a price we were happy with and his guidance around the process was helpful. He did a great job of facilitating discussions between us and our buyer. Overall Howard made a stressful process easier and was never a source of delays or friction in the process which is invaluable when you are trying to keep up momentum in the sales process.
