As his executor, I sold my late father's house through Mile & Barr. The sales team were 'on it' right from the start resulting in a buyer being found within days of the property going on the market. So, well done to Matt Brisley and all involved. Debbie Mead was then responsible for progressing the sale which she did admirably - on the case of those dragging their heels when necessary and keeping me up to date throughout. Thank you.

Couldn't have asked for more from Miles and Barr with our house move. Tom Philbrick and Debbie Mead looked after us so well despite hiccups and delays along the way. Debbie was brilliant, she brokered some difficult conversations, kept us updated at all times and it was clear that she had our interests at heart. I really felt that I could talk to Debbie, she was always available and very receptive to our needs. In addition, throughout the house searching process and subsequent negotiations when we had found a house, Tom was also really helpful; he explained all the transactional small print clearly, was very respectful when he came in to our home and managed to get the property we wanted at the right price for us. All in all the whole team were superb, thank you :)

We used Miles & Barr Ramsgate for the selling of our old house and the buying of the new one. Our Sales Progressor Becky White was fantastic. She always kept us updated, was assisting us when we wasn't sure of the next steps and even checked her emails for us on her day off because she knew it was our exchange date and she wanted to ensure it went through Ok! she always called us or emailed us back and was really caring about the progression of our chain. The mortgage advisor Aggi from the Ramsgate branch was also really helpful, knowledgeable and great to get along with!Charisma & Simon

Goes back to November when I accepted an offer for my house from a company that it turns out wasn't even formed yet.Progression 'team' did nothing until mid January. Jodie Winch seems to be the entirety of the 'progression' team. Utterly unfit for purpose. Acknowledged communication failures..... nothing heard for another month. Nothing changed. All the chain worked towards (and were ready as agreed) the end of March..... not Miles and Barr. No communication, no checks that this was a viable buyer, no due diligence. It appears that their mortgage wasn't applied for until mid Feb !!!Drifted to end of first stamp duty holiday. Nothing happened. Buyer is now clearly totally unwilling to complete the sale. Drifted towards second stamp duty holiday. Nothing happened. Whole chain eventually collapsed. Incompetence, lack of communication, apathy, no due diligence, acknowledged failures not corrected, un-interested management.Shocking, upsetting experience and the end of my mums' dream move. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Emily has been my contact at Miles and Barr. I was buying my next property through them. I have received excellent professional service with good communication and support when it was needed. My sale was in a long chain and Emily chased right back to the beginning and kept me up to date with progress. She was honest about progress unlike some others I was dealing with. She checked in with me regularly and responded quickly when I contacted her. I would use Miles and Barr again.

The staff were through and ensured my case was dealt with efficiently. The staff were always friendly and answered any questions I felt needed to be asked. Moving is an overwhelming process but the staff made sure the process remained simple and made it clear what exactly needed to be done step-by-step to ensure a successful move. Overall I was very happy with the service provided and the staff should be commended for their dedication and patience.

Excellent service from all of the staff at Miles & Barr Ramsgate who were originally just assisting me with finding a new home. At the last moment I changed to them also for selling my property and within days it had sold. A massive thank you to James, Giuseppe, Jack, Rebecca, Charlotte, Anne-Marie and George. They really are the most knowledgeable agents regarding properties in Ramsgate. Always treating you as if you are their only client with regards to needs and requirements.I think fees are very fair. I went to another agent originally where you have to pay fees upfront if you do not use their recommended solicitors. I lost that money but so happy that I went to a professional agents in the end

Strange experience with this agent. We kept being told that viewers really wanted our house & then were offered a fraction of the asking price. They sent round a lot of viewers one of which offered 1/10th the asking price! Such a waste of our time. There was then a big gap with no viewings. A person then came round - offered 100K below asking & said they were a cash buyer. I did begin to wonder whether some kind of scam was in operation. We eventually took the house off the market & won't ever be going back to M&B
