Outstanding Sales Progress team

The outstanding part of this experience was the Sales Progressor, Denise, who was always available to push this purchase along as soon as any small or big issue came up. We completed the purchase in just two months from offer to completion and the property initially had not even been registered and one of the vendors was in Africa. All this made it challenging but we got there thanks to her. And she still cared enough to pick up one last time post completion when really her work was over. Thank you Denise.

Exceptional Sales Progression

So grateful to the team but especially Rebecca Gravener, who was outstanding throughout the sales progression. She continuously chased up solicitors and agents, sending us regular updates and always available on email or WhatsApp to answer questions. Her support was invaluable particularly in our difficult and drawn out case, with multiple hurdles that had to be overcome before getting to the point of exchange. The whole team was fantastic at assisting us with our purchase. We initially dealt with Joe and Maddy at the start of the process who were very helpful and accommodating. Once the transaction had progressed we dealt mainly with Melissa, who I may add is a star! She kept us informed the whole way through. Updated us consistently, we never had to chase or query nothing and she was always on the other end of the phone to answer any questions we had. Rebecca very diligent and supportive, better contact on actual day would have been helpful.

The stars are for the personal contact, initial office personnel, keeping us informed especially Rebecca. The lost star is for the confusion at the end of the process. We were to the wire with our seller’s agent constantly giving us updates. When I rang Miles and Barr we were told the money was with the solicitor, we then rang the solicitor to be told no, it was 4: 45pm before we got the keys. Very stressful. Hiccups along the way not of your making.

Aidan was a great estate agent, he went the extra mile on more than one occasion, working from the house whilst I surveyors came meaning I didn’t need to take time off and more importantly when things needed pushing through with solicitors etc he went the extra mile to get the deal done. He gave great advice when listing and when considering offers, I noticed that post sale he went out of his way to see that the buyers had settled on as well which is a lovely touch. Communication throughout, he was excellent and I cannot recommend highly enough.

I cannot recommend Michael Anthonys enough. This is now the second property I have dealt with Andy, and my first time dealing with Kristina from the Sales Progression Team, and once again the service was absolutely outstanding. Throughout the process there were several issues and delays, which were due to my own personal circumstances, but I honestly cannot thank Andy and Kristina enough for the patience, understanding and support they showed throughout. Rather than making things stressful, they took the time to help me navigate every step of the process and were always there to guide and reassure me. The communication from both of them was exceptional. I was regularly kept updated, they were always emailing, checking in, and ensuring I knew exactly what was happening. I genuinely felt like they cared and wanted the best outcome for me and my family, rather than just treating it as another sale. They fought in my corner...

Selling a property is often a fraught experience. At the moment, there's a rise in gazundering and I had buyers who tried this with me. There's little estate agents can do about this, but Charlotte Silk who was my regular point of contact and arranged the initial agreement of sale, and Nadine Roberts who was my post-agreement contact really went out to bat for me. Charlotte excelled at negotiations and genuinely came across as interested in getting me the best price and protecting my interests (unlike experiences I've had with different agencies in the past). Nadine was brilliant at chasing up slow solicitors and making sure everything went ahead as smoothly as possible in the circumstances. She was responsible for making sure the date of completion didn't slip when it would have cost me both money and lost me an opportunity with a property purchase I was making abroad. I recommend Miles and Barr and give special thanks to the ladies who had my back.

Our experience with Miles and Barr was very good. At all points of our house buying experience, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. However, deserving of special mention is our Sales Progresser Debbie Mead. She was exceptional. If it wasn't for Debbie, and her knowledge, experience and communication skills we are not convinced that we would have reached the completion stage. She pulled all parts of our chain together and was tenacious in getting results when, all others appeared to be struggling to maintain the flow of information. All in all, Miles and Barr provided us with a first rate experience.

I have nothing but positive words to say about this company. Although I’ve had some ups and downs selling my property, they have been amazing and supportive the whole journey. My interactions with Miles and Barr

My interactions with Michelle Purse, in particular, who is always courteous and extremely thorough and Gillian were both productive and professional in their manner. I do feel the Directors should consider much lower fees when renewing Rental Agreements for a new Tenant, where a Landlord has already been paying monthly Management Fees without having to be asked or negotiated down. Disappointing.
