I have worked with this agent for almost 20 years. I am a professional search agent so deal with many estate agents from big internationals to independents like Shinerock’s. The service received from Jo and Paul is outstanding. The last client I recommended to them was extremely happy as Shinerock's got his house under offer in 3 days. The previous agent had been trying for 6 months! They are proactive and professional at every level. If you are thinking of selling or buying I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We used Shinerocks to buy our dream house and have just moved in. We liked Paul so much we decided to ask him to sell our house too and he sold it in 9 days!! He helped me rearrange our furniture to make the space work so well. I wished we’d had it like that the entire time we’d lived there. We staged the house together and it completely upgraded the look. He was super accommodating when we bought our house and was very reliable and friendly. Jo and Jasmine were also really helpful and lovely to speak to. From start to finish we bought and sold a house and moved in within 4 months!!

Paul and his team had the most beautiful properties, Shinerocks has sold me the house of my dreams, their portfolio is of a very high standard and they do not disappoint in providing special properties that can sell themselves. We had a good viewing with Paul who was very prepared and the presentation was very relaxed and easy going. He could sense we were keen and he asked us all the relevant questions and remained focus on business, not pushy at all, I feel he was very professional and conducts business with great care and finesse. I had the pleasure of dealing with ShineRocks recently who were able to sell a property that I owned on my behalf. From the time I contacted the office with regard to valuation until the time we completed I found all the staff to be very helpful, knowledgeable and above all, very patient with me. I will admit I get a little frustrated at times, not with them I might add, but the sales process in general. Paul & Jasmine talked me though the trials and tribulations of what turned out to be a difficult sale for them and for me. I had various unknown problems with the property which together with their help and advice we resolved. Paul took over after we had been stuck in a bit of a rut with another agent. He has an honest straight forward approach aligned with a detail knowledge of current market conditions and trends. No nonsense, and get the job done with the property sold in an acceptable time period and at a price which reflected the market. Paul worked hard with many viewings and pitched the property well. We enquired on a property marketed by Shinerock via RightMove. It sadly took multiple attempts to try to arrange a viewing. Any questions we had about the property and the owner were met with aggressive and confrontational responses from the owner Paul such that my fiancé and I asked to deal with another colleague as we were very keen still on the high value property. Paul was incredibly unprofessional. We were not given updates because we simply had another property to sell (same situation as other interested parties but we didn’t promise they could sell so we’re not given timely updates). The website claims a “personal experience” but this was far from the experience we both had. If this is how buyers of high value properties then I dread to think how others are handled. Naza was the colleague Paul referred us to. She was a total delight and super helpful. If you are looking at a Shinerock property, ask to deal with Naza only

We used the services of Shinerocks to purchase a property in 2024. It was a complicated and protracted process due to circumstances beyond all parties remit. Therefore, as buyers we got to interact with Shinerocks staff regularly to iron the issues. They were supportive, helpful and professional at all times even though they were representing the seller. I was surprised to read the review below. Because Paul from ShineRocks is very good at arranging viewings for us. Actually Paul arranged viewings not just for us, but also for my builders and architects so we can get the planning started even before the completion. I think Paul and his agent is a family business and very professional. I like Paul's sense of humour. In fact I bought my family house via ShineRocks in 2013 and just bought a bigger home with them again.

A year ago I saw a property through Shinerocks. I made an offer 15k over the 'OIEO' price. Despite having spoken and meeting with the agent I heard nothing back. When I called them, the very rude estate agent snapped 'you should have offered more money in the first place - it went for 30k over the asking price'. I wasn't given the opportunity to increase my offer. A yeah later the property went on the market again through Shinerocks. It turned out the property had never been sold but taken off the market; the agent had not been telling the truth. I offered 30k over the asking price - the price I had been told it had been sold for previously. I was told three offers had all been made within 5k of each other. I offered an additional 15k but was then told that an even higher offer had been made so I withdrew. At that point there was a flurry of emails - there was no higher offer. Once again the agent had been misleading me. In two days they had pushed the price up nearly 50k by telling me there were higher offers. In fairness the Shinerocks owner emailed me to say that I should not have been told there was a higher offer by the agent' However, despite my increased offer, once again I heard nothing back. Buying a house is one of, if not the most expensive and important purchases we make. In this instance the cost involved was over three quarters of a million pounds. Shinerocks's treatment of buyers is shocking. I will never again consider a property marketed by them, and for that reason would never sell through them either as their practices deter genuine buyers. Shinerocks have responded to my review saying that I was in the Far East - and that they could not get hold of me. Not true. I was in Spain for a few days, in the same timezone and I spoke to them twice on the phone - at length - during that time. I placed a higher offer in writing to which Claire confirmed in writing "I'll come back to you in due course". She did not even though I had returned to London. Nor did she say that she expected me to show enthusiasm by "calling us every day and chasing us late at night and early in the morning" Once again they simply say things that are untrue and their version of events is not an accurate depiction.
