GoogleFrom the first meeting with Dominique to the final call to confirm completion you get the sense of professionalism and control with Clive Anthony. The move may have taken slightly longer than expected but chains can be like that. Dominique was spot on with her assessment of value and how the marketing would go and in 14 days we were at best and final offers with 7 or 8 competing bidders. GoogleThe team at Clive Anthony was helpful, polite and patient with us when we sold our house with them recently, especially Matt, who made the whole process easy and who was always a pleasure to chat to.
Through no fault of theirs, ours was a long sale (it took us a while to find somewhere to move to after accepting an offer on our house) and they checked in with us just the perfect amount, so that we didn't feel we were being pushed but we still knew we were on their radar.
Once the sale was progressing, we were kept informed at every step and in the final stages, Matt was invaluable in organising early exchange and finalising a completion date with what wasn't a short chain.
Would whole-heartedly recommend (but get a few valuations, too - Clive Anthony's was by far the lowest of the three agents we saw, but they were happy to list at the price we asked for and then achieved a substantial offer above asking).

Initially I wrote a 1* review after a poor experience with communication, having appointments moved without being informed. Since then, Clive Anthony have gone above and beyond to reach out to me and allow me to air my grievances in confidence that they were valid, explain the mistake from their end and show that they are determined to become better because of them.
I have confidence in the way they conduct their business and set goals to empathise with their customers. I'm happy to say that I've had nothing but 5* service from them since the error.

GoogleWe have just completed the sale of our house in Whitefield this week having decided to use Clive Anthony because of their high presence in the area and because the initial meeting with them made a good impression.
Unfortunately we were left very unimpressed with the service from that point on. It didn't feel like they had any interest in getting the best price for us. Our house took roughly 7 weeks to sell and after 2 weeks they were advising us to reduce the price by £15,000. When we were reluctant to do this and we said we'd rather change the wording on the advert to say 'OIRO'. Upon doing that it felt like they couldn't care less. It was disappointing to be told to reduce the price so quickly, especially given it was over the Christmas period and we wanted to get through that time and wait to see if there was interest in the new year.
Ultimately our house sold after 3 viewings but this was nothing to do with Clive Anthony, my wife was present for the viewing which lead to an offer and it was left to her push the property. The house is sold and they have been paid without so much as congratulations or best wishes in your new home. These people have taken no personal interest in our house sale, all they are bothered about is moving high volumes of property as quickly as possible.
You will see Clive Anthony's boards in the Prestwich/Whitefield area and some people must have had good experiences for them to be so popular. Unfortunately the staff we dealt with were very poor and we would not recommend them.

I am really sorry to read your review above after we sold your home for 98% of the asking price at a time where the market is certainly challenging and at a time where some properties are not selling at all in the local area. Our professional photos of your home, online tour and video and its presence on all major portals was the mechanism by which the viewings were generated in the first place. It is true to say that you completed the viewing that resulted in an offer , after which time the team at Clive Anthony dealt with proof of funding, money laundering checks and subsequently sent 23 emails in total during the 87days it took for the sale of your home to successfully compete. We dealt with both sides lawyers, the mortgage lender and surveyors and this in part is why the sale completed some 7 weeks faster than the UK average of 138 days. I am extremely sorry that you feel the need to leave the very worst score for our business on the basis of the above information and perhaps on second thoughts you may change this. We are a fully and truly independent and family owned and rely on new business to support our team. One star reviews are damaging, especially when the service has certainly not been 1 star level. The reason why we are so popular in the local area is for the exact reasons you have experienced, because we market properties extremely well, resulting in viewings and offers which we than manage actively to ensure sales complete way faster than the industry standard. Its what we have always done and is the type of service we always offer. If for any reason though we fell short of your expectations in terms of how we managed your asking price we are truly sorry, but we gave you good advice which again was the reason you ultimately benefited from a fast and successful sale. It is obvious from your review that you were not impressed with our service, but it simply does not deserve a 1 star rating which as stated is not just unjustified but is also damaging to our business.
