I needed to sell my late father’s property and, after carrying out careful research and speaking to several local estate agents, I chose Karl Tatler Estate Agents. From the very beginning, both the Bebington and Prenton offices made me feel genuinely valued and welcomed. Their outstanding customer service was ultimately the deciding factor in my choice. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every question was answered with patience and professionalism, and every action was carried out proactively, accurately and on time. My view was that if they treated me with such care and attention, then prospective buyers would receive exactly the same level of service, and that would be key to achieving a successful sale. I was right. The property sold following its very first viewing, for above the asking price, which speaks volumes about Karl Tatler’s market knowledge, valuation expertise and ability to match buyers with the right properties. A special thank you to Neve, Lauren, Scarlett and Karen. Each played an important role at different stages of the process, and having a dedicated point of contact throughout made the whole experience feel personal, professional and reassuring. Selling a family home after the loss of a parent is never easy, but Karl Tatler made the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

I feel very upset and let down by my experience with Karl Tatler Prenton during the sale of my late mum’s home. I fully understand that, as I am not the executor, they must deal directly with the solicitor. However, that does not justify the lack of basic kindness, empathy, and respect, especially at such a difficult time and given my visual impairment. This has been an emotional process, yet I have felt ignored throughout. On one occasion, a staff member attempted to let themselves in without knocking and without any notice, despite it being obvious I was inside for a few minutes sorting through things as my trainers and white cane were outside the front door. This was entirely inappropriate and unacceptable. More recently, I was extremely distressed to learn that the buyer appears to have been given access before completion, with people already inside carrying out alterations. This is my late mum’s home, and it’s not how I wanted things to end. Overall, this has been handled with a lack of care, compassion, and professionalism. I would not recommend this office.
