Faye and the team were brilliant from first contact. We were buying a house sold through Clive Watkin and Faye was always so polite, friendly and genuinely helpful from the first viewing right through to completion. Our purchase turned out to be a little complicated on the conveyancing side and Faye was contacting all parties to liaise and assist with passing information, research and keeping everyone in the loop. I seriously feel that without her assistance the sale would have fallen through. Even after completion Faye checked in on us and the team left us a little welcome present/box as well, which was a lovely touch. Thank you all so much!

There was some difficulty in communication from the sellers solicitor and Faye went above and beyond to make sure everything went through and contact was chased. Cannot thank the team in the prenton branch enough. Matt, Cathy, Tom, Erin, Faye have been fantastic throughout every process. Anyone will say that it’s one of the most stressful things to do (move house) and this team have truly supported us though each step. They’ve been there through every meltdown and went out of their way to help us achieve our goal. I couldn’t recommend them enough. We used the Clive Watkin Prenton site services for the sale of our property in Birkenhead. Clive Watkin staff seemed polite and helpful at the beginning. However, when it came to negotiating with the buyer after the initial offer was accepted, Clive Watkin staff soon lost patience and politeness with us. There was a lack of negotiation skills with the buyer and a lack of customer service skills on display with us. We made them noticed our feeling that they were approaching this part of the selling not impartially, and there was a phone communication with us that was very unpolite, at this stage, we decided to only contact them by email. We also experienced a delay on replying to our email and queries. Overall, the staff in this company seemed good, friendly, supportive and helpful during the easy times, like onboarding, but skills were lacking when it's really needed. We would not use Clive Watkin again, especially as after the completion date we emailed our feedback to to the staff, which is totally ignored until today (2cweeks now from the selling) and we got no response back. It seemed once they got their payment, they do not have the politeness to address our feedback on the service provided, which further the support the review we are leaving today

From the initial valuation, through to the completion date, the team at Clive Watkin Prenton were very professional and extremely helpful. Our valuer Amie came out promptly when we decided to go to market & was quick to organise the paperwork & photos so we were on the market within a few days of putting the initial call in. She was very prompt, extremely professional & easy to contact when required. From speaking with others who have used online EA's, I get the impression that the communication side of them is lacking and they can be difficult to get hold of at time. You may pay a little more with a 'traditional' estate agent in comparison, but it is worth every penny. Once we'd accepted an offer (which was very quick from going to market) the team were very good at providing us with accurate and detailed information. Prompting us when required, but also being able to provide up to date information from all sides when we needed it. More that this, they were brilliant at offering advice to any questions we had. A particular shout-out to Cathy at this branch who went above & beyond with any requests or questions. She made the whole process a lot less stressful (and fun!) than it can often be. She is a credit to Clive Watkin. I wouldn't not hesitate in using Clive Watkin again based on my experience.

Fantastic - through and through. The team at Prenton were so friendly and easy to talk to; a part of me always wanted to have more of a natter, so that's a good sign. They were always good at promptly getting back to me with emails and calls, supportive through a few hiccups (all entirely due to my previous landlord) and I noticed I came off the phone smiling - lovely people and very welcoming when I finally met them in-branch to pick up keys. I was able to meet with the new landlord, have a coffee and get to know them which was a nice way of doing things and gave both me and the landlord confidence in moving forward. I also absolutely fell in love with the property and I'm so happy I was able to move here. After a previous tenancy in a very noisy untenable property - it's a breath of fresh air to be somewhere quiet, with good neighbours and the assurance that the new landlord is approachable, friendly and reachable. For the first time in quite a while I'm not thinking "why do I pay rent?". I'd give the Prenton team five stars. Great team and you can tell there's good vibes going on at the branch. There is one snag and it's frustrating to add to a good review but my one criticism is with Clive Watkin contracting Spark Energy as a move-in supplier. I opted-out but failing to choose another energy supplier meant I was on Spark with a tariff more expensive than a pre-payment meter. Given Spark rank second-last on 'Which?' behind a company Ofgem shutdown - and have many horror stories (usually bill shock and sending bailiffs out of error) I'm being extra cautious with usage until my new supplier takes over. Aside from that, I'd still give the Prenton team 5 stars. The aforementioned has nothing to do with them and it's been a faultless move made better by people who are warm, friendly and competent at what they do.

When it came time to sign my documents Claire made sure I had all information in advance, explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions.
