Moore Homes is a very special type of Estate Agent, yes, they are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, hardworking and diligent, but more than that, they really do care! They take the time to get to know you so that their advice is tailored specifically to your own personal situation. They are very approachable and always have time to listen. Moving house is arguably one of the most stressful events in your life, however, with Paul and Jane and the rest of the team working with you, you are in safe and capable hands. We are just starting our new life, in our new home and Moore Homes helped make it all happen. We cannot thank them enough and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone wishing to move home.

Moore Homes were brilliant with the sale of our home in Poynton, from the initial very personable meet with Paul. Giving great advise of the markets, making sure it was the right move for us, to then going full steam ahead getting the property on the market quickly, with fantastic photos I would like to add!! Debbie took over from this point, guiding us through every step of the way. Again her personal professional approach and impeccable communication made the whole process stress free and easy for us. Recently bought through Moore Homes, and what started out as a straight forward chain soon became very complicated and stressful! All the team at Moore homes did everything within their power to help keep the chain intact and even did their upmost to push along my buyers solicitor who were extremely poor with their progress and their communication to the rest of the chain. I can’t thank Moore homes enough for all their hard work to get this one over the line, as I’m not sure it would have happened without their assistance! We’re now getting to enjoy our new home as family! Thank you to all the team at the poynton office!

The lady I spoke to on 2 occasions was rude. I actually explained that the property was marketed incorrectly as the number of bedrooms listed was incorrect and subsequently it is now listed with 3 bedrooms instead of the 5 previously listed. Shocking that an estate agent doesn't understand about habitable spaces that don't conform to building regulations can not be clased as bedrooms!!!! The house is still the same cost as previously listed as a 5 bedroom and now correctly is a 3 bedroom?

Mr Gale, thank you for taking the time to give us feedback, it is always welcome, I feel I must reply to your comments though. First of all, having now spoken to my staff, you actually spoke to two different ladies and whilst I cannot believe one of my staff would be rude, for two of them to be rude, to the same person, I find beyond belief. However both members of staff did say that the calls were difficult. On investigating the matter, I suspect this stemmed from us following our client’s instructions that they did not want any more viewings from people who weren’t in a position to proceed, which you weren’t, plus this fell in line with Covid viewing guidelines at the time which I appreciate would be frustrating. You did though pursue this through the Joint Agent also marketing the property, Savills in Wilmslow and as we understand went for the property through them. Unfortunately in this instance you were unsuccessful, my office agreed a sale to another party, there were multiple bids on the property when the sale was agreed, subject to contract with both agents. Regarding your comments on Building Regs, whist we are by no means experts on the regulations, we are of course aware of the element referring to habitable rooms and that there are different definitions within the regulations. This is a very old property and we have sought at different times to bring out the huge potential of the large accommodation on offer, accepting that the top floor offers huge potential for either 1, 2 or no bedrooms at all depending upon your desires for the property. Altogether, the property has been marketed by 4 agents, we alone have had well over 50 viewing requests on the property, I suspect Savills will be similar too and it has been described during that time as a 3, 4 and 5 bedroom property at different times. In fact the 2 previous agents both described it as a 5 bedroom property and the agent that you are dealing with, Savills in Wilmslow have described it throughout as 4 bedrooms. However having checked I don’t see that they have been awarded a similar review or a review at all. So, on balance it would appear on the face of it a little sour grapes unless you think your comments have been misinterpreted. Meanwhile all the very best with your property search for the future and I am sorry that we were unable to help you this time. Regards Daniel Moore, Moore Homes
