GoogleClaire was just amazing, she did her very best in every way to help. Selling a house in the middle of Covid was so very stressful, but Claire came up trumps. She keeps you in the loop, is calm headed and fair in judgement. She knows her job inside out and does her very best for you, an absolute bonus to Hobdays.

GoogleWe chose Hobdays to sell our house 10 years after our purchase through them and were extremely happy with our decision. Clare, Karen & Gemma in the sales team were great - proactive, responsive and professional through a difficult market. Their valuation was accurate, feedback straight forward and honest and buyers were introduced swiftly. Clare (who handled our purchase too!) kept up communication throughout the transaction keeping everyone informed and comfortable! A great local business, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

GoogleAppeared helpful at first. Proceeded to spam my email almost daily with property updates only to say they had found 0 properties applicable. Contacted months in advance on renting to ensure we were applying in the right time frame. Then told several months later that we were too late and most properties had gone. No will to help customers from my point of view, no idea how they are surviving. Apparently a criteria of 'two students wanting a two bed house' was unlikely to result in any luck finding a property.

We do not spam emails as we value all business. It is difficult to find two bed student accommodation at the time students want to move. (ie in the Summer Periods). Students want to find a property several months in advance and landlords will not wait months, i.e leave the property empty for several months until the student wants to move in. Two bed properties are normally let to professional working people who move all year round, not just in the summer months. So we are unable to promise Students that require 2 bed accommodation that we can find a suitable property in their timeframe. 3+ bed student accommodation is very different as they are far easier to move within the students timeframe as we have a number of properties that are are already being rented by students.

GoogleWe were extremely happy with Hobdays! Their team is lovely, they always answered promptly and they always helped us to make sure everything was fine! We sadly had to move due to work, but we could not find the same professionalism as we have experienced with Hobdays! Thank you Hobdays team!

Hobdays are extremely slow to respond to any issue and for the 3 years of our tenancy, we had to constantly chase them - including for issues regarding heating and hot water. They often behave in ways that are essentially unlawful, i.e. they did not fix heating and hot water issues within the timeframe stated by law. As a result, we did not have properly hot water for more than a year and properly working heating (in a very poorly insulated property) for two years.

GoogleI’ve been using Hobdays services for years and they have always been very helpful. Recently I sold my property through them and, although the period was critical, the sale was very quick and smooth. A particular mention to Claire which was extremely helpful all throughout the process

GoogleBeing an experienced buyer of property for many years in this area I can say I've been using Hobdays for over 10 years. The sales team, Claire Garnet in particular is brilliant. No timewasting she grasps what you want straight away and does not give you properties you clearly don't want. This agent is not commission hungry and pushy like other local agents in the area, these guys actually give a monkey. Properties are priced realistically and sellers get decently vetted buyers. If you are planning to buy or sell I would strongly recommend using them as they are by far the best local Potters Bar agent in town! I have used their lettings division in the past and I had no issues.

Unfortunately it is the check out report when compared to the original inventory that is the deciding factor with release of damage deposits.
