GoogleWe recently sold a house and lock-up garage through Todd & Hartridge, and could not have been happier with the service that we received from Alastair and his team.
From our first meeting with Alastair we were impressed by his professionalism, friendliness and genuine interest he showed in the property. His valuation of both the house and garage would turn out to be spot on. We also sought valuations from a couple of larger commercial estate agencies but preferred the more traditional and personal service that Todd & Hartridge offered, and we are so pleased that we decided to go with them.
Alastair conducted all the viewings himself which was a real bonus as he had familiarised himself with the property during the valuation.
We were also very impressed with the quality of the brochures that were produced. Alastair provided a really well written description and his colleague Luke took excellent, well composed photos.
Prospective buyers were found very quickly for both the house and garage, so they only needed to be advertised online for a few days. Following our acceptance of an offer Alastair worked really hard throughout the conveyancing process to ensure matters progressed, always responding to our communications really quickly and advising us along the way. His assistance and involvement were invaluable in ensuring that the sales proceeded to completion, achieved in no small part by his responsive and diplomatically assertive approach.
We would have no hesitation in highly recommending Alastair and his team at Todd and Hartridge for the sale of your property.

GoogleAwful if I could give zero stars I would they do not care about complaints that are submitted to them in regard to their tenants as they are getting the rent each month. We have had issues with tenants of theirs for almost 6 months now and another neighbour for almost 3 years and nothing other then sending them letters which has done nothing and telling us to go environmental health. Absolutely disgusting!

We’re sorry to read your comments and do appreciate that noise concerns between neighbouring properties can be frustrating.
While you are not a client of our agency, we have taken the matter seriously and have made repeated contact with the tenant to ensure they are aware of the concerns raised and to encourage considerate behaviour. We also arranged for an independent contractor to inspect the property, who confirmed there are no structural defects that would be contributing to excessive noise, which can be a common characteristic of older terraced housing.
As a managing agent, we are required to act within both our legal obligations and our landlord’s instructions. We have taken all reasonable and appropriate steps available to us. However, it is not within our authority to determine or enforce allegations of noise nuisance.
Such matters fall under the remit of the local authority’s Environmental Health team, who have the statutory powers to investigate and take action where necessary. This is why we have consistently directed you to the appropriate channel.
We understand that living in close proximity can lead to differing expectations, but it would not be appropriate or lawful for us to take further action beyond what has already been done.

We've had a couple of minor growing pains whilst moving in but the agents at Todd and Hartridge have been quick to respond every single time.
